Are Democrats raising more money online than Republicans because they are more popular or Web-savvy?

It believe it is popularity amongst younger people, because Bush has soiled the name of true Conservative Republicans . My generation, for this reason, has decided to follow the Liberal Democrats. Most of the young people of my generation(18-25) don't truly know why they are Democrats, or what the Democratic platform actually is; they just don't want more George Bush. Are Liberal Democrats really the current party of peace? Are they really the most fiscally responsible?

Now, I'm not try to discredit Democrats, or Barack Obama, he's a brilliant man. But it seems as if he's almost the hip, or in thing, to choose now. I wish my generation would educate themselves a bit further. Some seem not realize that Obama's policies could very well bankrupt America. He has brilliant plans, great Liberal ideas, and he keeps telling us these plans are "paid for already", but the fashion in which they are "paid for" is yet to be explained. Edwards seemed to be the most fiscally responsible choice the Democratic candidates. He had several plans which were explained thoroughly, but for some reason, young Liberals ignored him. Was it really because he wasn't as "cool" as Barack? Some seem to think so, but I honestly can't say.

I'm a Libertarian, so I don't really take either party's side. The Republicans don't stand on their original platform, which was brilliant. And the Democrats have always been questionable. When it comes to peace and fiscal responsibility, the Conservative Republicans historically have the Liberal Democrats beaten, it would seem. People now fail to realize who stopped the Korean and Vietnamese wars: Republicans. People fail to realize that it was JFK, elected in the 60's, which lead to the disastrous recession and near-depression in the 70's. People also fail to realize who started the free-fall of the American currency. Bill Clinton, by borrowing money from other countries, to "spur" the economy and provide a cradle-to-grave Nanny state for the American people devalued the dollar, even before the shameful George W. Bush took office. President Clinton leaned heavily the federal reserve, and borrowed money from foreign countries to spur our economy These methods do not truly stimulate the economy, it only does further damage, years down the road. People, especially those in my generation, must realize why prices are going up. It's not just because things have magically gotten more expensive. it's because Clinton and Bush print money out of thin-air, borrow money from other countries to "spur" our economy, and in the process, they completely and totally destroy our once-powerful currency.

Democrats are the most popular now amongst young people, I think, because of President George W. Bush, misinformation, and thwhich leads to more money being raised on-line. I beg of young people to please follow the actual politics and policies of the candidate which you support. Don't just hate and categorize Conservative Republicans and praise Liberal Democrats, based on what one failed Republican President has done.
