Invade

Yes, there is an invasion on the horizon regarding Mexicans in America and this invasion will be a complete disaster for the United States. But do not blame the Mexican people... they are not seeking to invade, but very soon they may... with the help of Capitol Hill. Indeed, to accurately point the finger of blame, look NO FURTHER than at our own US Gov't- a Bush Administration and other members of the House and Senate who are pressing hard to push forward with their own "blanket Amnesty" Bill allowing all illegals amnesty in the United States. The provisions of this bill are shocking to say the least. American citizens must get informed on this issue now because this dangerous bill could kill America, and give birth to a NAFTA super-state where you can kiss goodbye to the good ole days. Worried? Read on...
The bill has been reintroduced three times in the last month. With a little research you will find that this frightening piece of legislation has been tabled over a dozen times in the last 3 years. Bush's own words: "I'm going to work with those who are focused on getting an immigration bill done and start taking some steps forward again. I believe we can get it done. I'll see you at the bill signing." Scary stuff by anyone's measure.
Our ever-vigilant Mainstream Media has, not surprisingly, managed to avoid this massive development, the result of which is that the average American has no idea at all about this dangerous piece of domestic policy sitting on our chamber's desk right now. So why does our own President and Senate focus so hard on the desires of 12 million to 20 million people who had crossed the nation's borders illegally, committed document fraud, identity theft, visas infractions etc? Why do illegal aliens and their advocates, both liberal and conservative, demand nothing less than full-blown legal status? And this Bill provides for up to 11 family members to join newly naturalized amnesty winners... hold up, wait a minute.
As you can see, there are many benefits for Mexico. So why then are the task masters in Washington so eager to see this one become reality? Bush has said that the $4.4bn in immediate additional funding for securing the borders but in reality Wahsington is advocating no border control at all, just collecting "toll money" from Mexicans passing through in the form of fines, administration charges and the like. And it gets worse.
Already in many US States, police departments have recently adopted procedures (from State and Federal directives...why?) to NOT arrest and detain illegals immigrants for a number of misdemeanors and even some felonies which a US Citizen would be held to account under the law. And the bill in question was also drafted behind closed doors with the help of "think tanks" in the US and Latino national interest groups such as the National Council of La Raza and the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund, which now have virtual veto power in the immigration debate. Some of these groups are notoriously racist and have openly called for revolution. Is there a larger agenda being formed here which American citizens should be concerned about? How is it affecting us now, and how will affect the country in the event of an Amnesty and open border invasion?
Add to that senior officials in the defense department have been pushing the Congress to fast track a section of the bill that would allow the military to recruit illegal aliens(nearly 20% of our ground troops in Iraq are already non-US citizens), after recruitment figures released by Pentagon showed that the Army failed to reach its targets for May. This is a fact.
Let's look closely at the nuts and bolts of the "invasion" bill. The indefinitely renewable "Z visas" which are effectively the core of the legislation not only legalize immigrants already in America but pave the way for their extended family to join them. Once those family members become resident they too will be able to bring in their extended families and so on. Add here a total "tax amnesty" for illegals presently in the US. In what sense can this be considered NOT to be an invasion of the US? And Bush ally in Mexico, President Vicente Fox cannot be any happier about this great bumper of US dollars flowing into the Mexican economy via families wiring money and a purge of the politically active rural working class... who seek economic opportunity in their new host country.
Such a Bill and the subsequent invasion from Mexico threatens to balkanize the nation, at the least a very dangerous experiment of which we have no certainty of a positive outcome. We can only be certain of one thing however, in looking at this government's hopelessly filthy record of corporate corruption and ramped opportunism, an Amnesty Bill and open borders with Mexico will open the flood gates for more colored-collar and organized crime. Socially, politically and economically it doesn't add up and will be a disaster- the creation of a massive underclass of illegal, third world, uneducated and poor slaves. Of course, for NAFTA, lovers of a North American single currency, the wealthy elite and big corporations, this would be a dream come true.
Watch this space if you really love American national sovereignty.

Immigrate

The vast majority of Mexican illegal aliens could not care less about invading the United States. They appreciate what the United States has to offer: much less corruption, opportunities for a better life for themselves and their children, and plenty of work that pays much more than they can earn in Mexico. Working in the United States offers individuals opportunities to make money here and to send it home to support their families.
It is historical fact that what we consider to be "Mexico" and the Southwestern "United States." was a broad area where tribes, individuals and even whole civilizations migrated back and forth as nature, the presence of water, enemies, and opportunity allowed. There has always been free and easy migration back and forth between Mexico, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona and California.
As the California economy boomed through settlement, agriculture, the movie industry, the Gold Rush, tourism, high finance, mining, international trade, cattle ranching, and eventually the computer industry; the lower paying and less skilled workforces were found in Mexico, with other Latin American countries such as Nicaragua and Guatemala coming in a close second and third.
As wars, scientific and educational advances and other technological advances called for more education, technical training and skills, many Americans became happy to find employment in anything that was not farming, farm labor, and the service sector. Mexican immigrants came in to clean houses, pick fruit and vegetables, do construction labor, and fill the back breaking, less skilled jobs.
Problems arose, however, when an overload of cheap and willing labor from Mexico occurred. Just as base closures and other industrial shutdowns occurred, entry level jobs in construction, farm labor, and the service industries dried up. With the inception of Welfare and all of it's programs, Mexicans were among the first to line up, more skilled in working the system than the American citizens who fell on hard times.
Expressions of hostility against "Anglos", Asians, Black People, and the United States in general, combined with an arrogant insistence that Mexicans, now called "Latinos", were going to take over and rule here. These attitudes combined with Mexican over-consumption of state and federal resources in relation to contributions after the second and even third generations, served to increase anti-Mexican sentiments, especially in overburdened border states.
Illegal aliens are unable to obtain drivers' licenses and insurance. The billions of dollars racked up in accidents caused by uninsured illegal aliens was handled by forcing legal aliens and American citizens to pay for "uninsured motorist" coverage, and the resentment never went away, especially in the West and Southwest. It is infuriating to see the same toxic drivers back on the road, still uninsured and still driving badly, a few days later.
And now, there is increasing resentment as more an more uninsured and unemployed Americans find a need, for the first time in their lives to seek help, just to find that illegal aliens have used up all of the help and have no plans to leave unless they are rounded up and forced to leave.
As a result, the first impression is that illegal Mexicans want to "invade" the United States. Actually, they will go wherever the jobs, the money, and the supporting social systems are. The Mexican government is perfectly happy to have the United States pay, and pay for, their citizens who are surplus to Mexico's needs.
Do Mexicans want to invade the United States? Mostly no. The vast majority of them would prefer to live and have opportunity in their homeland, but cannot make a living there due to lack of jobs, corruption, unequal distribution of wealth, and drug related crime.
