Add to FavoritesHollywood does not really have a negative impact on the world. It is a showcase of the world how it behaves and what it does.
All the films that Hollywood produces are in fact a mixture of our life or of some of us. It is a mixture of biographies, love stories, dramas, science fiction, horror stories, action films and documentaries.
Most of the films are in fact produced after books have been written, so do we ever say that books have a negative impact on the world and books have been written for thousands of years. I don't believe that all those books of which films have been done of have ever been criticized as having negative impact.
Now we have had horror stories, criminals for thousand of years, except that in the last fifty years, through television, the media and now the internet all this news are shared much faster with the whole world.
When you look at certain films you will see that nowadays, most producers and directors have understood to add a good deed in each and every film that have also messages that are positive. So times have really changed to give positive messages.
Only very few people are influenced by the horrors and violence that you see in films and might repeat such acts. You can count on two hands such cases in the world. That is certainly not a reason to say that Hollywood films have a negative impact. You have to take also the percentage of films that deal with negative impacts and they are few.
In fact even the negative films with violence and horror show that it does not pay to be violent or negative, so that is also positive in influencing youngsters to enter into this kind of world.
Look at the different kind of films with positive impact, all the historical films, the biographies, the dramas and love stories and documentaries that are all produced in Hollywood.
If Hollywood has a negative impact on the world, then we need to stop many things in the world, so we have to stop sports games because some of them have violence in them, we have to stop operas because people die there, we have to stop all criminals and mafias, in fact we will have to stop just about all what we do and the entertainment worldwide, because in everything we will find negative impact.
What about all the films produced in so many different countries, are they any different, no of course not, so it is easy to say Hollywood is a negative influence to the world. So enjoy Hollywood films and worldwide films because they are here to stay.

Does Hollywood have a negative impact on the world?
According to recent complaints and backlashes from the public, Hollywood has produced lots of beautiful movies, but there seems to be more ugly ones. These ugly movies make up the down side of Hollywood.
Some Hollywood stars are parents, and a question should be asked; will they allow their little kids watch some of their movies that are full or profanity, violence, and nudity?
In a world housing people with different ideas and motives, there has ceased to be a standard definition for morality. Even some of the virtues and principles taught us by nature have been redefined. However, our conscience remains an active force telling us what is good and bad. It is on us to obey or disobey.
It would have been better if Hollywood isn't run by human beings. Some are even parents with beautiful children, and one only wonders how come creativity becomes the foundation for bane and problem in the society. The effect of the media on the mind is higher than any other thing, and Hollywood may have pretended to be unaware of this.
Who writes those scripts? Who are the casting directors? Who are the producers? Are they robots or inhabitants of planet Jupiter? Irrespective of what we belief, our conscience stays alive to tell us what is good or bad. Hollywood may have suppressed the activity of the conscience in order to sell, but they won't kill the consciences of viewers who wonder why such "creative injustice" should continue.
We are speaking for our children and people we love. We are not around them all the time, especially when they are on their own, only to turn on the TV, and behold there is a naked lady on the screen whose real life is full of stories of divorce, drugs, and drunk driving. Most of these stars grew up under great discipline and religious teachings, but to satisfy the world, they had to compromise their inner virtues.
But are they fulfilled? Why do they keep divorcing? Why do they keep getting drunk and taking drugs? Why do they keep running into problems? Money, fame, or fans can never bring fulfillment. Nobody has ever been fulfilled making money.
It is the kind of thing you do with what you have that determines if you will be fulfilled or not. Fulfillment is of the heart and conscience. The conscience is always sincere, and as soon as someone begins to disrespect the pure cravings of the conscience to impress the public, the person is bound to live a life of regrets. There is no Hollywood star that has displayed a negative image on TV that is very happy today, unless he repented.
Yes, there are consumers looking out for profanity and nudity in movies. But should we satisfy such an interest that comes from hurt and inferiority just to make millions of dollars?
Why have we shunned the principles taught in the Bible? Some say there is judgment for the wrong we do. Do we believe this? What if it is really true that God exists and He will judge the world someday?
If this is true, then God has the right to judge because He has opened ever door and given us every opportunity to make a change. Nobody has an excuse. Everybody has the power to self-control. There is nothing forcing us to do the stupid things we do. We can change. Let's not complain. Let's take actions and make a change.
In the near future, we'd see new scriptwriters, screenwriters, directors, producers, and actors that will bring a new chapter into Hollywood with inspirational and motivational movies. This will shame others who through their selfish interest have corrupted the poor minds with their morally reprehensible movies.
