Why do laws always restrict a human from their own natural human thoughts? Laws are of course in place to protect a person, in this case, the woman or the unborn child? If the law is to protect the pregnant woman, does it have the intention of helping the woman or simply telling her what should be right or wrong as according to society. Laws reflect the values and opinions of society, but we are in fact society itself. But this law in turn would conflict with basic human rights and control over their body. Of course, this is a hypothetical situation.

In terms of laws, I believe that most people do not understand that in cases of rape, women go through intense emotional struggle and internal conflict. Some people are simply not ready to give new life due to perhaps social or economic status. What if men were placed in this situation? Speaking as a male, I am bias. I say let them do what they want. Let them choose what to do with their body. If it was males that got pregnant, would we want abortion? I'm sure that we would want to be able to have the right to choose abortion. Another hypothetical situation. This is what needs to be done, think hypothetically as in literal sense right now, it is not the case.

If we talk in terms of physical aspects, a woman has control over their body. That is a basic right to have. Not allowing a woman to have the right to choose what they want to do with themself is the same concept as controlling a human of their actions. A fetus is not classified as a living creature before a certain time so it is typically not killing human life at all.

A woman should have the right to choose whether they want to have an abortion or not as it is purely their own body in control and no outside forces should at all interfere or manipulate those actions of thought. Human thought cannot be controlled and the nature of humans is to do what they wish to do. Simply by establishing laws that prohibit that is the same as making laws for politicians to follow and controlling their behaviour such that they are unable to make decisions of their own. Thus according to this theory of controlling the human body and thought as well as actions, it is not acceptable. Might as well go into a world of '1984', where everyone is suppressed.

Having to choose what you wish is considered a basic human right by principles. Think of it this way. It's the same as the euthanasia debate. Having the right to choose. In either case, a woman should be given the right to choose whether they want an abortion or not, simply it's their own body and thought and decision. They take all the consequences and all the pain so why stop them as long as they accept the outcome?

Obviously the overwhelming, vocal force of opinion in favor of abortion comes from women. Men, however, through silent indifference add fuel to the fire. Those in favor will reason, among many other things, that resistance to abortion rights is indicative of the overall attitude of some that women cannot make wise choices with clear reasoning for what is best for their lives. The irony of abortion is that it does not exercise intelligence and reasoning, and fails to promote the God-created character traits that women possess.

Imagine a woman who is contemplating joining forces with NOW, the foremost women's advocacy group, and getting involved in the issues that affect women. She's pregnant, and has come face to face with the reality that motherhood will drastically change the course of her destiny. Let's assume that she was raised in a traditional home with traditional values and wrestles with some of these thoughts as she considers an abortion in her life. There is now a conflict within her; a war. These are the questions that are going through her mind:

1. How can my rights as a woman override the rights of the father of my baby? Do we not equally share the responsibility of this pregnancy since we engaged in mutual sexual intercourse? How can I justify abdicating my responsibility to the consequences of my actions by aborting the fetus? How can my role as the carrier of the seed be deemed more important than the father who planted it? I cannot create a baby on my own; how then can the decision to abort my pregnancy be made solely on my own discretion without regard for the father?

2. Since the processes of my child's development are not suspended while I contemplate abortion, how can I justify the abortion of my unborn baby by saying, "It is not a real person?" How can I skirt my responsibility by telling myself that while it is in the womb it cannot survive on its own? Can a newborn survive without care from its parents? Am I not blatantly denying the developmental stages of life by choosing to call it murder only after the baby is full term? Isn't murder of a human being still murder regardless of the stage at which it is done, or even the circumstances in which it was conceived? Whether it's a fetus, infant, toddler, teenager, adult or senior? Whether loved or unloved?

3. If I say that physical life does not begin at conception, wouldn't I be ignoring the obvious and inextricable stages of human development?

These thoughts and questions are not the thoughts and questions of one who has no intelligence and no sense of self. On the contrary they are the thoughts of a rational-minded thinker who values life and the responsibility to life. The woman in our scenario recognizes the difficult issues that women face: single parenthood, discrimination and indifference, social and economic disparity, etc. She is also aware of her commitment to personal integrity and responsibility. She accepts the fact that her choices create consequences and none of us has the right to own or disown them based upon their level of favorability.

The argument against abortion rights is manifold, but one has only to state the obvious to destroy the argument for abortion: The processes of your child's life development are not suspended while you contemplate and proceed with an abortion. When you believe this, then you've paid full price for the package of lies suggesting that the unborn fetus is immaterial. You've disconnected your conscious from truth. The first step towards unconsciousness is the refusal to acknowledge truth. When we ignore and deny obvious truth, we open the womb of our souls to the seed of darkness to become impregnated with a will and attitude that leads to mental and spiritual destruction. We are now open to any form of seduction. The argument for abortion rights is an argument of the unintelligent because it blatantly and fiercely refuses to utilize knowledge and seek physical and spiritual understanding concerning life! Abortionists have "reasoned" that the progressive stages of life are irrelevant, and that murdering the creation of mankind in its infancy stage is somehow justified. Only the ignorant would seek to disintegrate and disqualify this collective link. The evidence for life in the womb was never in question, but champions for abortion have not only ignored the physical, mental and spiritual drawbacks of abortion on women, they've also ignored the obvious truth concerning human development. How can I be an adult without first being an adolescent? How can I be an adolescent without first being an infant? How can I be an infant without first being an embryo? It is quite obvious where I'm going with this, but these simple truths have been ignored. Some say that the fetus cannot live on its own. Neither can a newborn! If we don't feed and care for them they will die. Only those who purposely ignore this can justify abortion.

One cannot champion women's rights and not fight for the rights of the unborn. The conclusion of the matter is this: a denial of the unborn is a denial of truth and denial of self; in essence, a denial of God. Evidence of God's existence and participation in the earth is in the creation and continuation of mankind. Abortion is the enemy of this truth. Any other twist on this discussion is a table set for the ignorant. We must think and behave with intelligence. From the time of conception, life begins its journey towards destiny realization in God. Abortion is not only a baby killer, it's a destiny killer.
