Contact this writerThe United States had been a major supplier of weaponry for many years now. Inventors here have created some of the scariest and most destructive weaponry ever to exist in the hands of man. Not only should we spend taxpayer money to reduce conventional arms caches worldwide, we should also try to help places heal that have been damaged economically or even spiritually by our nation's actions. The founding fathers were men of faith who believed in justice and freedom. Now we act on profit and prejudice in our dealings; if a country has oil they can do horrible things and we won't say a thing. By doing things like reducing weapon caches worldwide we might be furthering our interest in a more holistic way than we do now.
The simple truth is that we want to stay on top in the order of world powers. Since the 1980's we've been the only true world power but we are seeing several nations rising very rapidly. China's billion or so people want to experience the comfort and freedom we have and they are pushing hard to achieve and build more every day. This means that we are now competing for resources. But the situation gets more complex when we are also doing a lot of trading with them, mostly through buying products made in China or partnering with them to make more profit. The middle class in China is growing at an incredible rate as well. And finally, China's military is fast becoming a very intimidating entity. War exercises are becoming more frequent and they are threatening Taiwan's independence. This puts us in a precarious position because we are allies with Taiwan and are trying to be economic partners with China.
The middle east, primarily Egypt and other countries on a decent policy footing with us, have also profited and lost because of our actions. We've attacked a country in their midst twice now and have also gone after Al Qaeda in Afghanistan. Many have been killed on both sides as one minute of any newscast will tell you. All of these facts add up to this: the world is a very dangerous place to be allowing large caches of weapons to be available to irate and perhaps justifiably homicidal civilians and armed forces and political leaders. While we can only influence some countries because of complex political issues involving the our livelihood and theirs, we can do more to assure that weapon's caches contain less weapons and less dangerous weapons by not producing or controlling more of our produced weaponry.

Taxation without representation! We can't vote so we can't: say!
I feel it is important to inform America and the world that the US government is a Dictatorship NOT a democracy.
That its leaders have consistently lied to US and THE WORLD!
I think I speak for the MORAL MAJORITY with great confidence when saying "GOD HELP US" I cry for my Nation and the safety of the tree of my life!
WE THE PEOPLE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA can't vote so we... Oh let me put this another way for the less fortunate people the unenlightened believers that this runaway government is doing us a favor by draining our treasury and writing blank checks to corporations that aren't even in this Nation! To build weapons and help [occupy] foreign Nations (invading them under the authority of lies)!
One thing stands out clearly The ("scooter" Libby) trial established in all "the eyes of a candid world" that Iraq was "invaded" because of a 'misinformed agency' professing a "belief" as the [fact'(Iraq possessed W.M.D.) oops knowing this war(invasion and occupation) was [unwarranted] against a Nation that was beat up by daddy seems like close to the day before.
Thats (kicking them in the crotch) when they cant even get up an air plane to defend themselves with.
We in my homeland call that (chicken shit)! And any man that supports that mentality is not an AMERICAN I mean no disrespect to our military forces who aren't allowed to take any position in opposition to their commandant in chief!
I "have great respect for them" and [they] "are" (doing a great job) in most cases unwittingly, for the man and his agency agent affiliations, who are [treasonous] by their actions and their support of this immoral travesty!
Not because I say so: THE GREATEST DOCUMENT EVER WRITTEN SAYS SO! Being THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE! I need not say more than that; READ THE DAMN THING!
It is my understanding that 'the world' can use that document to help US as it was the first document(world court precedent case history) of our Nation, written to a candid world!
They have a MORAL RIGHT to use it to show this NATION HAS BEEN INVADED BY A TYRANNOUS REGIME! WE in this Nation are OPPRESSED I filed a PEACEFUL INSURRECTION under its clause of DUTY that was and continues to be hidden from my NATION imnamerican.blogspot .com if you can get access you are welcome to the information PLEASE HELP OUR GOD ART IN HEAVEN and the responsibility to maintain the safety of our world falls back upon US! ahh!
In closing for the above reasons this is my opinion from my heart felt truth of why my answer is NO to spending my children's children's money on any more lies to spend more on killing being the(inevitable)end of the invasions of other countries, to gain access to weapon catches around the world! And I refuse to enable purchasing old arsenals of useless weapons stored in other Nations that will inevitably be dangerous to touch in the first place.
DON'T TREAD ON US and that extends to the whole world now as we [all] MUST UNITE to save OURSELVES!
THE TIME IS NOW FOR ALL MEN OF ALL NATIONS TO COME TO THE AID OF THE TREE OF HUMANITY!
If your going to have faith place it in ourselves until the god of your faith returns in whatever form. We must protect the MORAL TRUTH and save the children, being the ultimate power and cause all gods stand powerful to represent: no doubt!
