The answer as to whether the administration pulled US troops out of Iraq too soon can be found in the events both leading up to the withdrawal and the events after the withdrawal.

Whether or not you agree with the war, the American servicemen were in it to win it. They worked tirelessly and fought valiantly to rout out the terrorists and forge good relations with the people in the areas they secured. The surge worked and our soldiers were winning the peace.

President Obama waved the white flag and turned his back on the Iraqi people by taking away their protection from the terrorists. The people of Iraq have been left bare. This is not to say that the Iraqi government wasn't training to take over the work of the US military, only that their training wasn't finished.

The people of Iraq longed for democracy. They voted in their first free election and were proud to show the ink on their finger in spite of threats to their lives.

President Obama pulled the US troops out of Iraq to keep a promise that he'd made to his liberal base. It was a decision that many predict will come back to bite us. This administration pulled out just before the job was finished.

The terrorists were given a date to plan for and they took advantage of it. Once the last US soldier crossed into Kuwait all bets were off. The relationships that were built between the soldiers who risked their lives and the people of Iraq were blown to bits hours after their exit. Neighborhoods that had begun to prosper and full marketplaces had been targeted by the terrorists. Bomb after bomb exploded. Within days there was infighting in the government. Chaos has returned to replace the security that our soldiers had worked so hard to achieve. Many innocent people have been murdered since our troops left and sadly, many more will be killed as the network of terrorists claim victory over the USA. The terrorists view the pull-out as a sure sign of President Obama's weakness.

So the answer as to whether or not the Obama Administration pulled the United States military out of Iraq too soon is yes. This has already been proven by the night and day difference in the country since our troops left. It has been proven by the innocent families devastated by all of the horrific terrorist bombings since the troops departed.

The majority of Americans have said no, the troops did not leave Iraq too soon. Most of these people have really been disconnected from the war in Iraq though. They were never even asked by their government to sacrifice by paying more taxes or serve in the war effort. Many people never even watch the news, those who do might find the news was their only connection to the war. The U.S. citizens were expected to go shopping when the war started, just keep the economy booming. The all volunteer military could take care of the war effort. In order to win any war, the whole nation needs to be involved.

The people in Washington, who planned the Iraq War, had grandiose dreams of creating a democracy in Iraq. They feel the troops are leaving too soon. They will never admit any wrong doing, yet they created the biggest foreign policy blunder in the history of the United States Those people took the country to war on false intelligence reports and borrowed money. They are now in a panic about cutting government spending for domestic programs, but feel a troop presence in the Gulf Region should go on indefinitely. Endless wars without any new taxes, just print and borrow more money.

Less than 1 percent of the American population served in the Iraq War. Those are the families who sacrificed and had loved ones serving in the Armed Forces. They suffered from loved ones being killed or crippled for life. If only the war planners and everyone else could try to understand what those people have gone through? The families involved with the Iraq War will continue to live with the cost of that war for the rest of their lives. It is not fair to ask them if the troops were pulled out of Iraq too soon. There will never be a right answer for them about the troops leaving too soon. They volunteered for military service, followed orders and served their country. The people sending them into harms way are responsible for it being a right or wrong war.

I do not think the United States troops are leaving Iraq too soon. They never should have been sent there to start with. I wonder if the U.S. war planners will ever learn that going to war under phony pretenses weakens the country while it emboldens the enemy. We only have the hope that they will study every aspect of the next war venture. The all volunteer military has to go where they are sent and follow orders, right or wrong.
