Honest is being truthful and sincere. Honest man is full of honor; just and upright. Honest is the opposite of cheating or thievish. A honest man is free from fraud; he is candid, truthful and ingenious. Honest man is truthful because his word and action reveals genuineness, facts and reality about a thing. He makes right statements which makes him to be trustworthy or reliable. Honesty is the bedrock of relationship between two peoples e.g friends, husband, wife and business associates. Honesty stimulates trust and sincerity.
A honest man is faithful to someone with whom he has an agreement or relationship. The act of honesty demands that a honest man keep to agreement or terms of a contract that he is into. A honest man will not deceive or cheat other person. He is a man of integrity.
Integrity is a state of of uprightness in ones character. A state of maintaining a stable control of mind. It is a condition of having enough resistance to external influences that contradict one's genuine belief of honesty. A honest man has good values that can be emulated by others. He is composed and stable in noble character.
Cheating is an act of dishonesty. A cheat is full of deceit. A cheat cunningly deprives others of something by deceit. A cheat acts unfairly to gain an advantage. Cheating promotes evil and leads to shame, disgrace and destruction. A cheat cannot be trusted. He is not reliable. Cheating is the practice of deceit. It is to deceive a person.
A cheat and a honest man can never relate profitably. Cheating and honesty are character traits. While a honest man establishes justice and fairness, a cheat is perverse. Honesty guarantees peace, harmony and love, cheating promotes hatred and disharmony. A honest man promotes togetherness and friendship while a cheat through deceit and fraud causes disunity.
A honest man is full of joy and at inner peace while a cheat is sad, fearful, gloomy and lives a fake life.
It is a clear fact that for a relationship to exist, there must be an agreement between two like minds. The character of a honest man which is truthfulness is opposed to that of a cheat which is deceit and fraud. These two are opposites. It will therefore be difficult for a cheat and a honest man to make a relationship.
However, since a cheat is known to be cunning to succeed in his trade of cheating, a honest man must be wiser than the craftiness of the cheat to escape being trapped in his deceit.

The saying “you cannot cheat an honest man” refers to the way confidence men and women take advantage of people’s greed to defraud them. Many confidence tricks do depend on someone’s desire to get rich quick by whatever means necessary. Not every victim is defrauded through greed though; some are done in by compassion, some by faith, and some by unrequited love.
For example, when the 2004 tsunami devastated the coasts of the Indian Ocean, con men stole money by creating rogue websites with addresses that differed only slightly from those of legitimate charities. Generous donors sometimes sent their well-intentioned gifts to crooks, rather than to aid organizations.
Not only did this cheat donors, who were not acting out of greed, it cheated thousands of people who were in dire need. The way to avoid this sort of dishonesty is not to be less greedy, but to be more careful. Legitimate charities have track records and endorsements. Check them out before you make out the check.
Romantic love can be costly as well. Some fake psychics promise to “mend broken love affairs.” The people who consult them are not acting out of greed but from heartbreak. Other charlatans pretend to cast powerful love spells or sell useless love charms and philters. People do not go to them out of greed.
Trying to use magic to force love can be considered a dishonesty of a sort perhaps, but it is closer to a delusion, one that should be treated with understanding. If you go to a psychic, go with a friend, preferably someone with a skeptical turn of mind. Better still, avoid psychics and their ilk altogether. If they actually have a dark power, you don’t want them to use it on you.
Perhaps the worst swindlers are the ones who prey on the very sick. Certain illnesses hold out little hope. When medical science honestly admits it has no answer, plenty of hustlers stand ready to take up the slack.
Protect your loved ones when they are sick and vulnerable. Don’t let them feel lonely or hopeless. If you don’t take care of your family members and friends, someone else may take advantage of your absence.
The fact is the people most likely to be cheated are the innocent, the ignorant, and those in dire need. These victims do not lose their money through acquisitiveness. Nevertheless, the victims of confidence artists often blame themselves, for the mistakes they make through kindness, trust, or even love.
