Blondes

Okay, we've all heard it a million times, Blondes have more fun....  Great.  But is it true? Can we honestly say that the statement about blondes being more happy is a fact? Does this whole argument about hair color really matter anyway? It has long been said  that blondes have more fun, but now they are thought to be more confident and amorous too.

Scientists claim their research shows that bleaching hair does wonders for a woman's self-image.

They feel more attractive, more likely to ask someone out on a date and become more adventurous in the bedroom. Sure the saying Blondes do it better, or Blondes have more fun is always sparking controversy but why? i mean think about it its hair color! Why let your hair color define how much fun you have! Polls do prove that men prefer Blondes but is that because Blondes have a stereotype?

Think about it! The highest percentage of Miss America winners, were guess what... ?BLONDES
Marilyn Monroe was... BLONDE or was she?The original platinum blonde, actress Marilyn Monroe began life as brunette. The research found those who dye their hair are more likely to sing and dance in front of an audience... WOW I wonder why... there have been so many studies done about this..... while blondes may have more fun, they are less successful than brunettes in work, according to other research.  A survey of 3,000 women revealed that, on average, brunettes earn 4,250 a year more than blondes. Brunettes are also more likely to marry a millionaire, with research showing that around two thirds of the world's richest men have a brown-haired partner. I've read that less than 25% of the world's population is naturally blond, yet 80% of Western women claim to have blond hair. Interesting, no?  Being naturally blond myself, I have always marveled at the number of women who dye their hair blond, even when they are so obviously not suited to it. I would love to try out a different hair color but am aware that dark hair or red hair just would not fit my looks at all. But seriously people, Does it matter who has the most fun? based on hair color? Live life to the fullest and don't base how you live on stereotypes...

That's All Folks

Brunettes

Brunettes, without a doubt, have more fun than blondes.  Brunettes can rest easy; they’ll never be the subject of “dumb blonde” jokes.  More people in the world are brunettes than not, and a poll that I’d read stated that 80 per cent of men surveyed answered that they prefer brunettes to blondes.  The outcome of the survey is not a surprise to me.  As a life long natural brunette, I can attest that being a raven-haired lady has plenty of advantages.  Because of my dark hair, eyes, and skin, I can wear pretty much any color of the rainbow without looking “washed out.”  Blondes cannot always do this because certain colors do no flatter their pale features.  Most natural blondes have lightly colored eyes, usually green, hazel or blue.  Their skin is usually very pale and sensitive to the sun.  Because of these issues, blondes cannot always get away with wearing dramatic looking makeup or go tanning for too long because their features wouldn’t look right and their skin would react badly.  Brunettes usually have darker skin or olive complexions and can handle the sun’s rays more easily than blondes can.

Many prominent entertainers dye their hair blonde or get blonde highlights, even though their natural hair is as dark as the midnight sky.  Perhaps these entertainers dye their hair because they think they will get more roles and gain more popularity if they do.  Unfortunately, these entertainers do not seem to realize how badly they look with dyed blonde hair.  In addition to blonde hair not suiting them, these entertainers are risking damage to their hair every time it gets dyed.  That can’t be too much fun!  Brunettes who are proud of their dark roots and prefer to stay that way are more self-assured and confident in who they are.  They don’t need to rely on a bottle of peroxide to make them feel attractive.  Brunettes are beautiful.  Flowing dark hair brings out facial features much more than fair hair does.  Dark-haired women are taken more seriously than fair-haired women, with 67 per cent of men surveyed saying that they view brunettes as independent and self-sufficient.  Brunettes are also seen as more intelligent by 81 per cent of men surveyed.  It is clear to see that brunettes trump blondes in many areas; sex appeal, intelligence, self-confidence and respect.

Not all gentlemen prefer blondes; some men prefer redheads and MANY men prefer brunettes.  Throughout history, there are examples of strong and courageous brunettes who have helped shape the world and leave an impact.  When I think of the women I admire most, a long list of brunettes top the list.  Rosa Parks, Elizabeth Taylor and Indira Ghandi are just a few examples of fiery brunettes who took the world by storm with their boldness and strength.  Never meek, these brunettes knew who they were and what they wanted from life as they demanded respect from others and left their mark on history.  Dignity and strength combined with brains and beauty is how most of the world’s brunettes can be described.  They are more than just pretty-haired damsels.  Brunettes have more than just fun- they have intelligence, respect, strength and character.
