Which Gosselin do you most sympathize with post-divorce?

Oh what a tangled and very awkward mess the TV show Jon and Kate plus eight has become. We could all see the split coming. There were so many moments where you felt that it could be anyday. Even if you hoped that it would never happen you can now see that there were definite problems in their marriage and while I actually sympathized more with Jon in the beginning I must say I am now firmly in Kate's corner. As I tried to sort through the anger, insults, and TV tellalls here is what finally put me in Kate's corner in the end:

1.) Guilt. Although I must say that the guilt is pretty equally distributed there is something to be said for the fact that during Kate's many tirades and corrections, he never let on that it was bothering him. There were many times were she would say something and I could tell that it bothered him but he didn't say a word (this was much earlier in the series). Now that the split has come I truly do believe her shock at his complaints about her behavior, you have to realize he didn't complain for a long time. You have to remember you teach people how to treat you and he essentially taught her that it was acceptable to treat him like this. He then let the anger and tension build up to the point where it was past the point of repair for him. He let it build up to the point where she did not really have any time to change or save her marriage.

2.) Goals. I truly believe that Kate Gosselin is planning for the future and is concerned about how her children will grow up. She is concerned with their future and the effect that her actions will have on them. Kate is building up financial security so she can provide for them and herself. I think that Jon Gosselin, although he cares about his kids too, is mostly concerned with having fun and fewer responsiblities. He doesn't seem to really take into account his kids wellbeing quite as much as Kate and seems to consider himself first.

3.) Actions. Jon seems to have no problem with flaunting his new girlfriend in front of the tabloids. He doesn't care what message this is sending to his children. He seems to be doing things to get in jabs at his ex-wife as well. The way that he told cameras that she had tried to "cry it up" for the cops after they had an argument is where you really could see the bitterness and anger shine through.
