Fame, fortune, fame, fortune. Well if you juggle those words they both sound good don't they? But in my humble opinion I'm going have to go with fortune. I've always been a material girl, not necessarily designer items, but I do like to relish in beautiful clothes and pamper myself here and there. And honestly, if you have fame you have the money to go with it but would you truly be happy?
Fame and fortune all in one sounds like a great two for one deal doesn't it? In my view, that is wrong. Sure, fame may be amazing when you get your first taste of it. But imagine everything that comes with it, you have a management, publicist, stylish, make up artists even, following you mostly everywhere. Since gossip magazines are such a huge hit especially today, you'll be on the cover of one at least once a month given or take how much fame you have.
Of course these tabloids like the spout lies about you and once you get wind of it, you have to through this process of telling your publicist it isn't true and then they're off telling the public. And not many people are going to believe that, since people are sometimes driven to the drama of Hollywood, fiction or not. Not only will this throw you down, it'd be pretty much impossible to go even grocery shopping!
There's no way you could go without your body guard, since fans will bombard you and even try to rip your hair out, and I'm not even joking here, there are some crazy people out there. Not only that but once you step out of your car, paparazzi will hoard at you like Mexican bull festival. Those bright camera lights and clicks will drive you absolutely insane every single time you step out of your house. Paparazzi can be really annoying bothersome flies, asking you stupid questions like "how are you?" "what are you doing today?" "I heard you and so and so are collaborating".
After time you will definitely become grumpy with these camera flashing pests and either snap at them or ignore them. Either way that'll certainly make it into the paper calling you a snob. Its also tough work once you have fame, you won't be given many breaks, you'll be working your butt off with anything you're doing whether your an actress or a singer.
With fortune, you have the dollars without all that stress! You can just enjoy your normal life with your family, kicking back and relaxing in a giant beautiful home at the seaside. Even if you don't want to go all out and show how much money you have, you can have a nice serene and cozy environment. You can travel anywhere you want, without crowds and crowds of human beings nosing their way around you. You can shop at fine looking ritzy clothing stores in peace, you can even dine at high end restaurants in solace.
If you've got fortune you're basically just yourself, the world doesn't know you, all you have is basically wealth that can buy you anything, and that alone can make you the most happy. So next time someone wants to ask you this question, give it a long thought about what fame can do to you in the long run. Trust me, if you got famous you'd start thinking "why don't I just take all my money and hide out at my log cabin in the middle of no where."
