Yes, it is possible. Actually, the method I will share with you in this article is healthier than just exercising without a proper diet! I found it out by myself and it happened by a coincidence!

The magical recipe for losing weight in a healthy manner without exercise is eating only those products that don't consist any white flour and white refined sugar in them. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, easier said than done, isn't it? If you are like me, fan of all kinds of bread, potatoes, pastas or pizzas, you will say: Honey! Where are my gym clothes, I decided that exercising is for me after all! Why I choose to do this step, to cut off my favorites foods from my daily menu? The reason is simple. I decided to be healthy and listen to my body.

I knew that something was wrong. I was tired all the time and always needed to sleep after my meals. I did not work out because I didn't have time for it. Plus my metabolism wasn't getting any better with the years.

Investigating all the symptoms I found out that white flour is stripped of its bran that is refined and easily converted by the body into sugar. And I don't know if you are aware that we actually gain weight from sugar and not from fat. When we eat white flour and refined sugar products, sugar in them is rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream, causing a rise in the hormone insulin, which acts to clear it from the blood. If there is too much sugar that needs to be cleaned from the blood, it is designated to be stored in the tissue for future use in form of fat. When you those types of products they are quickly digested and burned, and they cause peaks and valleys in your energy level that leaves you craving more. This behavior causes weight gain.

So my challenge for you my friend is: Eat white flour free products and refined white sugar free products for at least 40 days and I promise you that you lose weight in a healthy manner without exercise! I also advise you to take vitamins and minerals supplements to nurture your body and give it what it needs.

Below these are foods you are not allowed to eat. If you want to take my challenge SAY NO to:

All prepared or packaged foods. Sodas. White flour fresh breads or packaged breads. Ice creams. Cereal. All deep fried foods in general especially French fries and fried chicken. Cakes and sweets. Rise. Potatoes. Pizzas. Pastas. Alcohol. Coffee.

I will give you some examples of foods you can eat and SAY YES to:

All vegetables, that are green and leafy. You can grill or cook them and even heat them up on a pan but just for a little period of time. Green color fruits. Fruits in general in moderation. Eggs. Wraps made with lettuce. Eggplants that you can oven bake. Sugar free yogurt (pay attention if they still put sweeteners and write sugar free; it should have sour taste). Cantaloupe. Cottage cheese. Herbal teas.

Eating "Say Yes" products you will never feel bloated afterwords and never have to deal with sugar crashes. You get all of the fiber and carbs you need from fruits and vegetables and loose weight as a natural process. What's not to like? Good luck!

Of all the times I've lost weight, you know, the old yo-yo- syndrome, it's been the lack of calories that has done it. Exercise in and of itself will not make me or anyone else lose weight,if the eating isn't being reigned in. In fact, exercise will make you gain weight, as muscle weighs more than fat. So, is it healthy to just cut down on eating? Not exactly. Will you lose weight? Yes. In a healthy way? No.

When weight is lost, the first phase a person goes through is the water weight stage. You know, where the first couple of pounds seem to come off quite easily. That's because the human body is losing the excess water weight. After that stage, we hit a plateau, and this is where most people get discouraged. It seems no matter what we do, the weight is just not coming off with the speed it did at the beginning. That's because water weight is so much easier to get rid of than adipose tissue, which is fat.

Another problem with losing weight is the combination of dieting and exercise. When we exercise, we tend to get hungry, and then we tend to want to eat. Well, when trying to lose weight, eating less AND exercising can be a lethal combination for a diet, and many people tend to give up and overeat, thus, gaining all the weight back and more! What to do?

Time is the X-factor. We must be patient, as weight lost in a timely, slow manner is weight that will tend to stay off. Exercise is not only encouraged, but critical to maintaining the correct weight for the human body. If we don't exercise, then all that loose skin tends to hang and not look so pretty. Also, toning stomach muscles is important for those so-called "washboard abs" we see incessantly advertised on TV. Most people don't have the perfect body, or even those washboard abs, but at least a toned abdomen can be attained with a bit of exercise.

For those people who hate to exercise, walking might just be right up their alley. We don't have to walk across the country, okay that's exaggerating a bit, but a few times per week with behavioral change in the food department will do the trick. It's physics really; the more calories we take in, the more the body stores as fat. The more energy expended, the more fat has to burned. Lose a lot of the food, and lose a lot of the fat. The energy has to come from somewhere, and that somewhere is right off your love handles.

In summary, it's possible to lose weight without exercising, but it is not recommended. If we turn more of our body into muscle, the muscle itself takes more energy to remain toned, and that burns energy without even exercising! So, exercise and eating less go together, just like we've heard since the beginning of time. There is no magic to it, it's just the way we're built.
