In terms of cost the Internet is much more beneficial and less expensive then getting a traditional education using books. As most College students know the books get to be really expensive over time and some may not be able to afford the required books. That is the benefit of online education usually all the resources are Online and it saves paper. A lot of classes today are using the Internet to teach because it saves paper, money, and is more open sourced then the traditional education that is taught through books. Most colleges are using the Internet today to teach their classes which is really beneficial to the environment. Because of the Internet we are not cutting down trees to make books and packets. Whereas a lot of the traditional education that is taught in most Elementary and High Schools today is taught through books and papers. This goes for college as well. The books for college course levels are really expensive no doubt, some cannot afford it so that is another reason why the Internet is a great tool. Even in mainstream media. All the details are not as accurate as they could be and sometimes may even be slanted or biased from one side. Whereas the Internet usually has two different sides. Usually it has a FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) section that should be taken into consideration. So much can be learned from using the Internet.

In terms of convenience the Internet wins in terms of transportation and time. The ability to connect to the Internet in their own homes is really helpful and convenient. That means they could connect and log in to their Online class at their own time. Especially for the students who need to work during the daytime. This convenience can really help them succeed without having to be at class by a certain time. Online education is really self-paced.

In terms of academic potential, with an online degree one can get about as far as a regular degree maybe even further, especially with online degrees such as computer graphics, web design, etc., anything really computer related. With an online degree academic potential opens up different opportunities than most traditional degrees. With the internet available and open education the student would have a bright future.

A problem with a traditional education is that it is traditional and is meant to be for a job title really. Whereas the Online has more open sources than just the basic information, and it opens people's minds to other possibilities. Which can benefit them in the long run. Really any type of eduction certificate or degree is beneficial. But the point is that the Internet has more open sources then the simple book or traditional eduction. What really needs to happen is there needs to be no traditional teaching and there should really be open non-traditional education. That is great about Online eduction.

What's great about online education we still can get certified or receive a degree online in the career that we want. The academic potential opens up to new sources and new opportunities than just a simple one. Really there is not too much expense in getting that degree or certificate. A lot of the activities that are done in the classroom can be done online as well. There can be discussions, assignments, and sources that can be found outside of the classroom which is great, and no traveling will really be needed except maybe to a computer with Internet access but that is about it. Most Internet classes are even self paced which makes it easier to follow through and complete. If the student ever needs to look back at some assignments or review the assignments they are usually available to look up. All the information that the student needs is online. No paper required.

In conclusion. Online education can even reach higher levels than most traditional paths such as graphic design or even computer programming. There are so many different careers through Online education and it is cheaper and more convenient than having to travel to the classroom each day the class meets and listening to the lecture of the teacher or professor. Even the basic subjects can be taught Online such as math or even some science classes can be taught Online. The best benefit of Online eduction is not too many books or papers required for a successful completion which saves money and trees. Which really preserves our environment, which we need. Some Online classes still require books but not so many as the traditional education.
