On the wings of an angel, Michael Joe Jackson has now soared to the highest heights! No longer will he be persecuted or judged by a world that could only view circumstances from the outside. No more tears for him, no more crying, no more suffering. The highest award has been received on this day June 25, 2009 at 2:26pm.

Michael was taken to Ronald Reagan Hospital in Los Angeles following a collapse at his home. Paramedics began resuscitative measures, which were continued by physicians for more than an hour following his arrival at the hospital. Despite their efforts, the life of the famous Icon and musical legend ended, leaving a world of family, friends and fans alike mourning his unexpected death, caused by cardiac arrest at the age of fifty.

Many are still in shock, still holding on to hope that it is only a hoax or publicity stunt. The truth is that a legend has moved on to another life, one that we cannot now follow him into. Memories of his wonderfully blessed career will provide some comfort, but this will be a day permanently engraved into the minds of many. Of course one life is not equal to the loss of thousands, but his death will be like a another 911. Many will remember exactly where they were, or what they were doing when they received the tragic news.

There is no disaster team that can come in and make things better. Each us of must face this crisis in our own way. Michael affected the lives of many generations of families. The young to the old have heard his name, knew who he was and that his talents and contributions were priceless in the industry of music.

Even in a time in his life where he was accused of the most heinous crimes, against a child no less, fans still supported him and many believe and continue to believe in his innocence.

His official television debut was on the Ed Sullivan show with his four brothers, Jackie, Tito, Jermaine and Marlon. From there the Jackson five became a household name. Endorsements, a cartoon in their images, numerous awards and lots of wonderful music and dance followed their discovery. Their youngest brother Randy also joined the crew, making them officially the Jackson 6. Although Michael and his brothers ventured in different directions later in their careers, The Jackson Five (6) remained alive and reunited for performances, much to their fans appreciation.

Diana Ross and Berry Gordy (founder of Motown Records) should feel they have done the world a great service by first ,recognizing the talent, and then secondly for bringing them out for the world to see the same magic that they had discovered.

Today is not a day to speculate on any negative circumstances surrounding his death. Instead we should focus on the good that he has accomplished in his life, and commemorate a life that has given so much to family, friends and his loyal fans.

The King of Pop has joined the ranks of others who have touched our lives and our hearts. Michael Joe Jackson was called home today. He has now reached his goal of finding the ultimate peace that seemed to elude him so often during his short earthly life.

We dearly love and will miss Michael! May his next life hold everything that he has dreamed of , or wished for, but did not receive or achieve during his earthly life. Today he is with God, and we will gain strength in that knowledge.

There will never be anyone who can fill the shoes of this talented performer. He was blessed with a unique talent that has given so much pleasure. It is hard to imagine the world of music ever being the same! Is there life without Michael? Clearly, today, many would answer a resounding NO.
