Could more than one reality exist? If reality is temporal can it be anything more than a contingent, brief reality that fades away like a rice paper roofing company in Florida a couple months after hurricane season's over? Is a pain that hurts for a while non-real after it's gone? Is a toothache not real when it becomes of the past? How real are things that do not exist in the present but might have once existed in the past? Is the King of France real? Are saber tooth tigers real-or linguistic conventions referring to things that don't exist today?
How real are things that don't exist but probably did in some place that is past? Is the reality of the present as real as the reality of the past more or less? Doesn't something need to be permanent in order to be real-and if that is so can anything be said to be real in this Universe besides faith in a transcendent God?
The ancient Greek philosopher Plato believed that a realm of higher reality existed with forms or real blueprints existing in a spiritual abstract context that provided copies that could appear in the transitory material of this temporal space-time Universe. For Plato and his neo-Platonist philosopher-disciple Plotinus writing six hundred years later (in the third century a.d.) the forms existing in an eternal, changeless realm of spirit were more real than this Universe and its pale copies of reality. This Universe is a kind of imitation ghost universe that reflects some parts of the eternal. In the Platonic sense reality must exist in the non-sensible realm of forms found in eternity outside of the changing, temporal world of appearances. The temporal forms and even temporal physical laws of the Universe that are sensible are completely malleable and determined by the boundary conditions of the actualization of this one particular Universe. Plato assumed that reality had a higher and better, permanent actuality. Using rational inference and inductive reasoning he comprehended certain principles a priori regarding the nature of relationships, intervals and being. His student Artistotle also comprehended the idea of substance in this Universe as of one nature that assumes various forms, and applied the principles to physical and biological evolutions. In chaos theory Steven Wolfram ran a Mathematica project that discovered four essential states of chaotic systems evolution that arise inevitably-there are forms in this world in atomic configurations, in superstring theory potentially, in genetics-that exist to support the permutations and actualization of particular examples of the reigning 'blue-print' or pattern for the actualized particulars that arise as physical, temporary objects for-themselves.
The existence of objects of a temporal nature in this universe that are manifestations of deeper, underlying fields does not mean that all of the patterns and forms that develop are not issued from just one source or intelligence. Cosmologists too believe in a singularity at the start of existence and a unified field principle of one nature, perhaps even with zero dimensions to simplify explanations of the order and history of the one field...the existence of a variety of actaualized forms does not mean that they all are not derived from a higher realm of non-temporal forms from an Intelligence. Yet that possibility makes us wonder if the Universe itself isn't a copy of a higher, non-temporal Universe. Multiverse theory such as Tegmark has written about could be considerred an example oft he logic of embedded theories of being at the micro and macro cosmic scale. Higher realities should rightly include a space-time that is stable rather than dynamic in expansion or contraction. Eternal change paradigms would have there own kind of implicit stability-yet at what point is the reality to be found? Is it in the initial planning condition, in the non-actualized potential status of the Universe at a singularity, etc.
Reality should be discoverable in the eternal, whom most hold to be the province of God-for the temporal world is the abode of human spirits of limited life-span that can only conjecture about anything existing of a more real nature in the eternal. We have Plato to thank for this consideration, and it is a field of contemplative endeavor worth researching for-ourselves.

OUT OF TIME
Time should be saved once life is outside of time it will be unchanging. Another word for this is timeless. I find timeless things are heavenly memories of life. Or lessons!
Temporal being of this world's timeline, being real it would be in time with life.
Having been washed away by the sands of time only a perspective memory being a consideration worthy of contemplation for the purposes it may serve.
Appearance and reality: does it need to be non temporal to be real?
Only in belief, you see once someone believes in an image such as a picture of God that is reality even though this being is said to be outside of time or non temporal it manifests as true because of the spiritual (seed) concept that is born into the minds understanding.
They don't call it the greatest story ever told for nothing.
An interesting concept came to mind the last time I pondered this:
Given the story of creed how do you make it a fixture?
Kings may live but they are subject to human vulnerability so their law and word would also fade away in time or simply become legendary like King Arthur.
A spiritual icon in the human mind must be created, established as powerful then destroyed in the story so the only record that remains is possessed by the temple of the mind. The Ten Commandments was depicting never worshiping an idol then what does Moses come down from the mountain with? The tablets ~ they too were idols. The genius behind this story was to destroy the golden cow in such a way as it could never be forgotten. The proof of the existence of the Ten Commandments was supported by the destruction of the cow being ground up and dispersed into the water. Now any where we see gold in the water we remember the spirit of the story, not only the cow (gold), but especially the tablets, written by the finger of God that Mosses destroyed, just like any man in a fit, a childish tantrum sounds so human it must be true.
This story breathes life into Gods spirit having materiality an event of the world (temporal place in time) and supporting the tablets validity in the same timeless spiritual story without evidence beyond belief of the dead words written.
So in answering this question Yes: only if it is beyond belief!
The miracle of human deception is something wonderful in the eyes of its creators.
Abrahams vision of God promising the land of heaven (Gen 12:1-3), (Canaan) Jacobs fight with God reiterating (promise of heavens land) grandpas plan God renaming Jacob (the deceiver) Israel. Mosses Ten Commandments Egypt Flight of the Israelites, Magic snakes, parting seas (tsunami) then come to find out some people already had possession of the Promised Land. God, God who?
Imminent domain hadn't been thought of yet
Doing my homework, thought I'd share my condolences for the Jewish forefather's troubles over this war lord ideology that went awry when the Greeks and then the Romans were drawn into the holy wars. Being where God failed the gift of heaven and a new King was born along with a star (Comet) 3 wise men (Magi) astrologers with a new vision, a promise of afterlife: Jesus was anointed blessed told he was the chosen one and everyone began to believe he the son of God born in the manger at the butcher shop virgins were holy as Mary but this is just a story ruff but it gets better when the a Romans kill Jesus and blame it on the Jews Then Peter Gods successor gets a throne as the first Roman Catholic God of the earth being the one Jesus Blessed with the Keys to heaven Peter being (the rock) the first of Jesus' mind churches (members only) if you believe Jesus is god in heaven you shall know him in your heaven another non temporal apparent virtual reality seed of belief that YES is beyond belief but not beyond the truth of heaven being in your mind. Well its about deception justice being blind war for advantage religion saves all that's forgiven perpetually the spirit of Rome never burned itself the Pope by succession has been the new God through Usury, Hitler, involved with all the wars being the elector of most kings even George 3rd and Rome has never really had any concern of attack the entire time Gods heaven on Earth Vatican city is its own nation/country The Holy See in a non temporal sense but the deacons they may have feelings active part of Gods presence here.
The deception is ramped culminating in our temporal worlds end: present day being the reality of how our great nation became just like them, temporal or non temporal what do you believe is or not in time?
OUT OF TIME
I have an honest well researched understanding and I am not posting as a single article instigator.
I am spirited about our world about the people big small liars and all God damned it all while all the little angels were learning about a dead man in a story called God learning to believe in the alleged good books very carefully chosen scriptures all the older folks read the whole thing learning how evil is a matter of perspective belief the mighty righty would be all that's left in control today because our vote is just for fun and our voice is spiritual it may sound temporal it may even be material to our understanding but we're not commanding
this ship of human beings.
Appearance & reality: Does it need to be non-temporal to be real?
The way it appears and the way it is, is the same as you can't judge a book by its cover.
Does it need to be unreal to be real? With all things considered: NO
Awareness everyone is cheating themselves defeating mother nature the being we are created of is none other than the earth her atmosphere is our life right here ~ do you deny this?
We need to stop the confusion stop booking people.
