Leviticus 11:7-8And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be clovenfooted, yet he cheweth not the cud; he is unclean to you. Of their flesh shall ye not eat, and their carcase shall ye not touch; they are unclean to you.

Isaiah 66:3He that killeth an ox is as ifhe slew a man; he that sacrificeth a lamb, as ifhe cut off a dog's neck; he that offereth an oblation, as if he offeredswine's blood; he that burneth incense, as ifhe blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations.

Isaiah 66:17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one treein the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the LORD. I don't want to come off holier than thou;however, I believe in a higher power. I choose these scriptures say what I could not..........
Please, allow me to wish everyone on this site Peace. Always remember that Positive Energy Always Cause Elevation.....Allow me to share with my fellow writers the facts about the "other white meat." A hog or pig is called a swine. Next, I want you to understand why God said not to eat their flesh. Swine has one stomach and no sweat glands whereby being unable to excrete poisons that they may ingest through the blood stream. God made the unclean animals to clean up the earth.

If that's not convincing enough, the pig is 99.9% poison. Second fact would have to be that if a rattle snake bit the flesh of swine, the animal would not die. When Pork is cooked, individuals will assume that the fatty tissue is just that fat. I must stress that the fatty tissue is the waste that the pig was unable to release because of the absence of pores.

I am not a judge or jury, but i am a woman that believes whole heartedly that human beings can do without this abomination we call Swine...

I must stress that if you love swine that by all means help yourself. I did not need another outbreak of the swine flu to convince me to not eat poison, it just heightened my awareness of all things unclean. I think we should all be mindful as to what we ingest. I believe that our goal in life male or female is to live a long healthy wonderful life and prosper....Personall y I find that raw diet works best. I believe that humans can be careless and forget that we are what we eat.

peace and many blessings,

Equality

Swine Flu - it's such an inelegant title. Blaming the pigs for our inability to provide ourselves with a clean living environment is wrong. This 'un-pandemic' has actually caused me to purchase and consume much more pork than I normally would. Why? Well, this is simply due to the inability of others to see the reality of this disease that the world is currently rife with; that reality is that eating pork does not cause one to contract the H1N1 Influenza Type A virus. Therefore, I have taken this opportunity to create for myself a stockpile of pork. "Why not?" I ask, "If no one else wants pork, and it has become so cheap, does it not seem economically sensible to stuff some more pork into my diet?"

Besides, I find pork to be one of the most flavorful and delicious meats around. I enjoy pork chops, pork roast, and pork anything-else too. As a matter of fact, I'm having pork for dinner tonight. How fitting.

I take pleasure in watching other people stress over the smallest things, turning 'mole-hills into mountains' as the old cliche goes. This swine flu 'epidemic' is nothing more than an exaggerated case of xenophobia in reference to the apparent intolerance of Mexicans by U.S. Citizens. What I fail to understand is that they are complaining that the immigrants are taking their jobs, yet the jobs that the immigrants are taking are of the caliber of work that no U.S. citizen wishes to do. Because of this intolerance, the media decided to create a social epidemic out of nothing, essentially. Anyway, the H1N1 Influenza Type A or Swine Flu as it is called has not caused me to stop eating pork. It has actually increased my consumption of pork due to its relative low cost compared to other meats.

As a side note, I have not fallen ill yet. If I do come down with the swine flu however, it will not be because of what I have eaten but rather because I do not wash my hands quite as much as I should. So, if you are shying away from pork products due to the swine flu outbreak, you are wasting your time. There is little to no legitimacy behind the claims that eating pork leads to contraction of the swine flu; it is simply the result of exaggerated media coverage. Besides, pork is cheap now - And cheap is what we all desperately need. So traverse to your local grocery store or meat market, and buy yourself some flavorful and delicious pork to enjoy tonight. But remember - wash your hands before eating, because no one wants to get sick.
