The only thing I know to do to achieve the changes we need and what Obama promised us he'd do to change our reality, is to hold onto hope and faith. So, if I chose to say "No," the only thing left for me to say would be,"Oh Ye of little faith." Obviously, a view of doom and gloom would be a scarey place for me. That's why I choose to believe that Obama will achieve the changes we need, and even if it takes four years or more, I'll hold onto hope more than ever before.

Those who rant, rave and complain as they try to take our hope and faith away are so terrified of change. Even so, they don't make me afraid, no matter how hard they try to terrorize my mind. Instead, they just leave me enraged. Those who choose to believe Obama will fail, considering he's been in office a few short weeks, must think they have ESP. They don't know as much as they think, but what they do is to communicate in fear based ways to create the very demise that makes them afraid. It's a predetermined destiny they create for the rest of us. They have no clue what fear based debates can do to create hate, strife and fights that might lead to our country's demise. We have to be wise, but most of all we need to be brave.

As someone wiser than you or I once said, "United we stand and divided we all fall." Our only enemy here is fear. Let's keep in mind that every time Americans hold onto faith in the President of the USA, we succeed in achieving the changes we need and even a few impossible dreams. Then again, divided by closed minds, we all fall into the depths of despair and fail miserably. That's why I try to let go of my anger at those who hold no hope. Anger leads to a bitter stew that poisons new views.

That's why I refuse to listen to negative human beings. When I choose hope, I'm free to be at peace. From there, I can find the faith it takes to believe Obama will succeed. For the sake of our country, faith that he will succeed must become out predetermined destiny. Otherwise, we create our own demise.

Considering the fact that the USA was based on hope and faith in the first place, I'd say that a lack of faith would be the worst mistake we could make. Regardless of what you think about Obama's way to give us the change we asked to receive, let's give him some credit for daring to go out on a limb and do something different. That's exactly what "change" means.

Let's try to keep in mind the facts of the past. What we resist always persists, and we've been resisting change for way too long. That's exactly why Obama came along, and just in the nick of time, it seems. In case you forgot, the whole world is watching us. Do we hold onto hope and faith or do we choose doom and gloom? Are we really living in the land of the brave, or are we all afraid? Did you forget? On inauguration day, the entire world held onto our hope and faith.

People all over the world were amazed by us Americans, because you see, hope and faith is what made the USA great in the first place. That's why it was an amazing sight to see millions upon millions of human beings elated by faith That united feeling we felt was nothing short of amazing grace, which God always provides when we hold onto hope and faith. That's why not one arrest was made that day, among the millions of human beings who stood peacefully united in Washington DC. Hand in hand, we stand in the land of the brave, so it's being brave with hope and faith within each human being that provides any President what he needs to succeed.

When people communicate what they debate through a hopeless view, it makes faith fade away. They create the hate that destroys what might be our saving grace if only we could hold onto faith. Even the faith of a mustard seed could help Obama move a mountain or two to resolve all our issues. It was hope and faith that achieved Martin Luther King's dream, but on the other hand, It was those who chose to vote NO to hope and refused to see beyond what made them afraid who created our worst mistakes. They who lack faith are those who instigate the assassination of great human beings, like JFK, Martin Luther King and Robert Kennedy too. They blind our eyes to what freedom means and crucify the very thing they say they want to achieve.

Let's consider what defines an insane and closed mind. Insane minds tend to do the same old things they always did, but insanely expect a different result each time they do what didn't work the first time they did what they continue to do. Considering the economic demise, it makes no sense to do what we traditionally did to boost the economy. What else can Obama do but go out on a limb to fix what hopeless people did? How can we condemn him for being brave and stepping up to such a huge plate while the whole world waits for him to fix all our mistakes? People who doubt what brave Americans do to achieve the change we need are a disgrace to the USA. They betray our hope and faith.

They betray the very thing that made us great. In fact, those who thrive on fear based ways to manipulate our hope and faith are nothing but terrorists. Hopeless souls are those who become the greatest threat to our country. No matter how unintentional their negative view may be, the fear and hate hopeless people create is what leads to the failure of leaders and the demise of nations. It destroys the very thing God is trying to provide, and since He gave us a will that's free to choose what we say and do, let's try to think, say and do positive things. Besides, with hope and faith, God provides the amazing grace it takes, not only to change, but to fix our big mistakes. Please hold onto hope and faith, so that Obama can succeed. Faith is what made the USA great in the first place.

When we are brave, we face what makes us afraid. We go out on a limb to fix what makes us sick, and since that's exactly what Obama is trying to do, let's hope and pray every day to find the faith it takes to help him succeed. Whether you lean to the right or the left, be FOR more and against less. Communicate what you debate through a view of hope and faith. Try to keep in mind that in the USA, hope and faith always wins in the end, so if we choose to let go of hope, we can't blame Obama for the demise, "We the People," will eventually achieve. His success depends on you and me.

The need for hope, faith and change is why it's always wise to reply affirmatively when people ask, "Will Obama succeed." The fact that, "Yes we can," became a command and a way to say, "Amen," means we need to believe it's true. You see, when we pray with the faith it takes to believe in impossible dreams, God provides the amazing grace it takes to give Obama the wisdom and guidance he needs to achieve the changes we need. The truth is this: What we resist will persist, so whether it takes four years or more, we need to hold onto hope and faith more than ever before.

Barack Obama will not achieve any of "his" "changes" in the next four years because the average American probably doesn't recall any specifics he promised while using his slippery rhetoric. Positive changes can only be brought about and credited to the cumulative efforts of honest, hard-working people in our country. Obama was simply at the right place-right time and got elected by a bored America that needed to "shake things up." He is just the idealistic icon that is supposed to signal the world that America is "cool" enough to have a non-Caucasian President. That's all. Forget about the alleged promises. Not gonna happen.

A Black Howdy Dowdy, who had his tuition paid for by a Middle-eastern millionaire so he could "talk" the part-could've won this election. The media, the liberals who still are in denial over Clinton's impeachment (people: he WAS impeached!), were ready for the "ambiance" of change. It didn't matter who the individual was-as long there was sensationalism and he played "the part" correctly. Obama's name is icing on this fraudulent cake. The name Barack Obama for our President is really hip to the peoplewho voted for him-and that trumped the man who did more for our country than five presidents I can name ever did. It trumped a man who sacrificed for years, his physical being in the trenches of war, who reached across the aisle for years-who in fact PREDICTED the Fannie and Freddie ordeal, tried to stop it, while Obama was getting money under the table from it. And the question is: will Obama achieve any of HIS changes in the next four years? GIMME A BREAK!

We as a nation, have created change, never mind the walking "aren't I hip?" logo that got lucky enough to be elected-for now.

We have a Black President! How cool are we? This is the mentality that voted for a man whose college records are "sealed" with the threat of a lawsuit; a man who has no more experience than the man-in-the-moon to be Commander-in-Chief and a man who couldn't even negotiate political affairs in private, with his minister of 20 years-let alone try to discuss international affairs with global leaders!

So no, negatory, negative, a big resounding nuh-uh for Obama to achieve anything at all except be the oooh-ahhh figurehead of the now "groovy" America. As soon as the "rush" dies down, the public will realize that the emperor is naked again, and that the novelty of a Black President could still have been had four years down the road. That could've happened when the likes of McCain, (a true American patriot), had made the nation feel more secure with experience, earned respect (not just the media's smoke and mirrors) and action-not Ivy League boiler-plate rhetoric.

God help us. While we are hugging everyone and riding the retro-60s Love train, the phantom financiers of our President's clandestine past are smilingly watching the focus shift from security issues to how important it is for our children to consider gay or inter-racial marriage. They are watching the stock market plummet like a safe on a sidewalk on Inauguration Day, more huge businesses going under and foreclosures steadily increasing. But hey, we have a Black President, so it's all good. The average American probably won't notice any specific changes that Obama will not achieve and only remember him saying: "Yes, we can." Well that nifty jingle and $2.00 may buy you a Starbuck's coffee-if the store doesn't lose its lease! The only way we are going to ride this administration out is by enduring the consequences of another "just for fun" election winner, working damn hard and creating our own positive changes for the country we love. A Barack Obama will have nothing whatsoever to do with that! Roll on-2013 and in the meantime-Koombaya Knuckleheads!
