Yes because in some countries people are using their children to kill others. They are not only destroying their own families but other families as well.
History has proved that when dictators start brainwashing children at a very young age, they wind up committing horrible acts against the human race.
These acts should be outlawed in all countries, because they destroy many families for generations to come.
When we look the other way and say it is their country they can do what they want it becomes as bad as voting for genocide or allowing the taking of the innocent lives as in the days of World War II to start to take root again and before we realize it we will be in the middle of another war that has gotten out of hand.
In many countries, we are allowing groups of people to plant bombs on little bodies and have them walk in to a crowded hall where people are partying; up to a group of people in the military and/or on a crowded bus where they will be blowing up not only themselves but everyone else on that bus.
When did the law change and say if we only kill one person, we do less time in prison than if we kill five people at a time.
When did society change their minds and say if it is now acceptable to allow children to kill.
I know that many people have been fighting to have laws changed allowing many acts of murder to not be called murder, but why doesn't anyone do a documentary about what is happening in Darfur and other countries throughout the world.
What kind of parent allows the body of their child to be blown up intentionally?
What kind of world leaders and rulers would allow this to continually happen again and again and not have a law passed that would prohibit this from happening ever again.
How can we keep quiet about these issues?
Is the other parent so frightened that they keep quiet or do they also believe that it is the thing to do to their child?
Why do so many people say we should just look the other way and not fight to have these laws changed. Why do people picket the war and not picket the practice of blowing up children? Is it because they never thought about picketing such horrible acts. Is it because no one organizes them, why don't we march in front of an embassy that allows such inhumane acts to continue?
Why aren't any of the people we have running for President take a stand on these issues?
Maybe some of you can explain to me why so many will vote for people who think it is all right to give the parents that power to kill their child and anyone who is near them?
Why doesn't the media have as many shows showing what is done all over the world?
Every now and then there is a show that will expose the selling of children as slaves, the blowing up of children, and/or the slaughter of animals and destruction and stealing of food that is sent to third world countries? Why isn't it done on a weekly basis and given as much attention as the war in Iraq is given?
What do they parents tell the other members of their family, and do they say it with honor or do they keep it a secret as long as they can even to their dying day because of the shame they feel inside?
I hope many answer this question because I want to see what people will say about this issue. Has anyone taken a tally of how many children have been killed with a bomb tied to their bodies in the war in Iraq, in the war in Viet Nam, Korea and/or Germany?
How many of our men and women have come home missing legs and arms because they stopped to help a child in the middle of the road, only to be blown up because of their heroic act?
Does anyone ever take a toll on that and let us know just what really happens that brings our military home missing limbs? Or is it easier to blame the President/Congress/S enate in charge of sending people to try and correct such horrible acts?
Are we just supposed to remember injustices done to our fellow human beings like slavery and/or holocaust, or are we supposed to act and never let it happen again?

I can't decide whether or not I believe this is a serious question. Should the UN outlaw using children for suicide bombing? No, they should encourage it?! This is insanely stupid, not the fact that this is a topic up for debate, but that this is a topic in the UN at all. Of course it should be illegal to use children, but shouldn't suicide bombing altogether be illegal? Making it illegal for the terrorists to use children will have about as much effect on terrorists as the death penalty has: none.
Terrorists take pleasure in death. I think this is where this argument about how to stop terrorists always splits. It's hard, especially for non-Islamic people I guess, to understand the mindset of an Islamic terrorist. Terrorists, especially religious based extremists, know they are going to die. Not only do they know it, they are excited about it. Their martyrdom as a religious extremist is what their entire lives lead up to. That's the entire problem with these 'religious terrorists', which I guess is the best way to describe them, they want to lose their lives for their cause, which means they literally have nothing to lose. We all know the saying, the only man to fear is a man with nothing to lose.
We've got to look beyond the individual pieces of the problem, and look at religious terrorism in a new way. Sure, using children for suicide bombing is horrible, but making it against the law is just a pointless task to keep the UN looking busy when it seems they are actually at a total loss. I just can't understand what purpose this law would actually serve. We can't scare the terrorists into stopping. We've marched through their countries and annihilated their homelands. We have killed thousands and thousands of terrorists. Thousands more have killed themselves and taken innocent lives with them. This proposed law has nothing to do with stopping terrorism, and is terrorism not the problem here?
Maybe the battle with Islamic extremists will never end. It's possible that they will just never give up and America and it's allies will have to remain constantly on the offense. Who knows? All I know is that it's not going to do anything anywhere to any extent by passing another pointless law. This law reminds me of a law here in Georgia that you can't buy alcohol on Sunday...you can still drink alcohol all you want on Sunday, you just have to buy it on Saturday. Totally pointless. Making using children for suicide bombing illegal is laughable. Its totally missing the point.
