Oprah Winfrey, is it possible, she too incorporated?

Yes! I have seen the Oprah Winfrey show for probably, about thirty years now. Well, I do not watch anymore but I use to, when she competed against the Phil Donahue Show, way back when the dinosaurs roamed the earth, and we drove horse back to the general store for supplies.

I thought Oprah was innovating. Her shows were always different and you learned something from what you watched. Those days, there were not celebrities all the time, but there were some very interesting topics. She kept Phil on his toes, trying to out do her. I could not wait for three o'clock to catch an hour of Oprah.

I even liked it when she would have Angel Mondays. That day, once a week, when someone out of the audience would do something nice, planned of course, for the guest who was on. Random Acts of Love was the theme and it was touching. She has done some wonderful things for people through the years.

She has re-invented herself also. I have seen her big, with big hair, small, and big and small again. I have seen her cry and dodge questions about her personal life. But now, all I see is OPRAH in big letters everywhere I go. She has a magazine in her name. She is on prime time giving away stuff. A million dollars, the other day, was given out. She gives out presents to her audience and gives the audience cars. She has her own book collection, she makes money on. Is it me, or is she just becoming a corporation, a business?

She has cried on the show and told stories of abuse as a child, she has cried and talked to her guests as they cry. She has shows with people wearing bras, so they can be told why their bodies are wrong for their bras. She had those two awful women from England, who put people down about their clothes after they show them in their underwear. (Like they are so great looking?)

Oprah has been a guru of Secrets of Life and living, because she sees all and knows all. She is not a PHD but she gives advice as she was one.

She made Rachel Ray great and discovered. Now Rachel has her own show because of Oprah. Once she had her assistant brought out because she had droopy eye lids and had her through surgery, so she would look better.

Why do we listen to Oprah? She is just a diva who likes getting her way. She loves attention in any form she can. (Maybe we should analyze Oprah, sounds like she did not get enough attention at home, growing up?)

She has become bigger than life. And she is only a woman. I say, let's turn Oprah off. She needs a rest. There has been many decades of hard work, I for one am tired of helping to make her rich. And, believe it or not, there are better things, to learn from. Why don't we turn off the television and find it? Life is fun, even without Oprah.

Oprah reigns. Oprah rules. And she should not apologize for the fact that she worked hard to get where she is today. Is she her own entity unto herself? Yes. Yes, she is. Oprah is a billionaire, because she pulled herself up by her own boot straps and brushed herself off, and continued to envision herself on top of it all. Everyone who wants to be someone or merely get recognized in their field if even ever so briefly, wants to align themselves as closely as they can with her.

First and foremost Oprah is kind, loving, and feeling. She has a heart that is made of gold. When she has a feeling or a thought about a project, she puts forth effort to study it and what can be done about it. Then her next step, she will reel in the right people to get the job done. From the movie stars to presidential hopefuls, she exuberates a sensibility that some could only dream they have. She has opened up herself to the universe and it has given back to her tenfold. Look at this experiment she currently has going with Ekhart Tolle for example.

Being on the ground floor of the shows latest idea to bring the world together in a classroom-type setting is a stunning one. While using the Internet is the next step in a genre she has not covered, she just has. She now will continue to cover other authors, or classes to the world and all for free. I know that I will be on that bandwagon when it comes around again.

Oprah has touched the world in so many ways. She has given back to the world in so many ways, and has let us all take a peek while she does it. I think that she is incorporated to herself, and that's not a bad thing when the end results are happiness, smiles, friendships, and perhaps closure in a gap of the world's great divide.

I will not forget how she was when I personally met her in the early 1980's. I went to see her show with some of my friends with whom I worked. After the taping of the show, she proceeded to come out, take off her shoes and sat and talked with us for over an hour. Only a few people stayed, most left thinking it was all over. I felt an almost one-on-one with her and she was not only engaging, she was funny and gracious. We then took a picture with her and even got an autograph. She was wonderful, and although she would never remember that little group of women that sat and chatted with her; she made a real difference. We walked out of there and felt special. Oprah has come to realize that if you are real, then real good things happen.
And while Oprah is known the world over, she never forgets where she has come from, and for that she remains one of the most sought after persons in the world.
