I have spent almost the same amount of time as most people spend working all day at a job for a paycheck, looking on the computer for a way to use my talents to try and generate some sort of income to help my family. I am disabled physically but my mind works overtime. I have registered for surveys, but wanted to find something that would allow me to type. I love typing and consider it a hobby, when I took typing in 12th grade I dreamed of hand placement until the class was over and I made an A. I have looked at many sites and felt I was at a dead end as far as finding something that would allow me to hone my talent while not charging me or making me start a home business. You can imagine my surprise to find a site that actually let you write in contests on every subject imaginable. I do not know if I will make money but it can't hurt to give it a chance. If nothing else my mind will stay sharper than it would if I were to spend my days on the couch watching television.

I would have to say that typing jobs are worth everything to people who want to express themselves and enjoy creativity. Upon finding a site that allows me to type I have found myself thinking of all the things sad and funny, that brought on my disability. I have got reintouched with who I am. For the past 4 years I have wanted to write about all the things I might not get a chance to tell my children before I die. I am an avid reader and will read just about anything but a VCR manual. I know typing jobs are worth it for mental stability. In regards to financial I hope to learn the answer is yes. I believe if you want something bad enough you will work to make it happen. Typing doesn't mean free money, remember the adage of "If it sounds too good it probably is"? A perfectly honest observation would be when you get that Christmas morning excitement in the pit of your stomach by visiting a book store and finding out your favorite author has published something new. A second deeper observation I have encountered is longing to read a favorite book again and feeling satiated as a person in the desert might receive with that first drink of water. I know I have written daily for years starting out with a young girls diary. Typing about your life in essence is showing a part of your soul in a readable manner. When I saw that first penny appear on the earning page the spark of life was re-lit with a vengeance. Truth be told you can get something valuable by the reflection of one cent. As the few months have passed and I have worked on Marketplace and contests I have been able to rate in a top position but so far I haven't been able to sale anything. The joy I receive daily is not from the pennies as they add up so much as is the joy of reading others stories and continuing to write and hone my work.
