Add to FavoritesIs Britney Spears a danger to her children? Nah... not any more. I think whatever was going on with her a year ago is probably much deeper than any of the theories the mainstream media was reporting, and she has seemingly gained control over her mental health now. Everyone has an opinion on the Britney Spears subject so I might as well share mine; If I had to guess I would say that since that poor girl was not only thrust into fame at a young age, she was also exploited as an underage sexual object (remember the little school girl costume with knee highs and piggy tails and all...ewww!) Her home life wasn't stable enough to put that kind of expectations on her, and that combined with some sort of trauma that went unreported or kept under wraps (that last comment is strictly an educated guess) made her mind fragile and a ticking time bomb.
Her extreme stardom was probably what sent her over the edge, if you consider she was already in her heart, feeling like an object; fueled by the constant barrage of paparazzi and tabloid articles, she probably, with the push and manipulation of some very unsavory characters, decided you people want a puppet... I'll dance, I'll give you all something to talk about. In that time of her life she had so much negative things hitting her from all sides that I believe she decided to check out, maybe or maybe not with the help of drugs, either way she was here physically for us all to gawk at while she went through what ever it was she was going through, but mentally that girl was definitely not amongst rational decision making adults.
All of that aside and the fact her father is such an important part in her life now, she has checked back in and she has her babies back - as any parent knows children have a way of grounding us and reminding us of what is truly important in life. Maybe Britney took a little longer figuring that out then the masses would of liked, but the point is she did and she deserves to be mommy. Children love unconditionally and I think that is what Mrs. Britney Spears has been searching for all along - just like the rest of us. Her father's newly constant presence in her life is benefiting her more than shows on the surface and it directly relates with what kind of parent she will be. I think with everything she has been through she is still just that scared little girl that got thrown to the piranhas at such a tender age. From the beginning, she handled it very maturely and very strong, until it eventually all caught up with her in an extremely serious and globally public way. At the end of the day, maybe all she needed was her daddy to come to her rescue and make her strong again. Thankfully, Jaime Spears didn't disappoint and even with a little (but not very much) resistance he ultimately pulled her back from that really sad and scary downward spiral she was in, that usually ends in tragedy.

Of course she is. Do you need to be a shrink to know Britney is dangerous? Her well-publicized incidents include staggering out of a car and almost dropping a child, driving with a child on her lap and possibly driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs. Legal representatives, such as family court counselors, have cited Britney many times for endangering her children by her continuing incidents of erratic and drunken behavior.
Additionall y, over the years when her children actually lived with her, Britney hired a series of nanny/bodyguards, male and female, who quit within a month or two. Their mutual complaints were that the mother just didn't seem to have any interest, not only in the children's safety, but the every-night party girl hardly cared about their very existence. While the late night comedians' comments about Britney's dangerous neglect of her children may be exaggerated to create one-line jokes, there's a disturbing kernel of truth in all of them.
The most damning evidence that Britney is a danger to her children is a judge's decision last year to turn the custody of them over to their father, Kevin Federline. Oh, sure, that was a perfect move to assure the safety of the kids. The terrible reality that the former husband, a no-talent, sleep-around (two kids by another woman) financial sponger is considered a better parent than Britney is an even more revolting joke than any comedian could create.
Has all the negative news and court-ordered loss of her children bothered Britney? While she continues her every-night partying ways, new publicity about her 16-year-old sister's pregnancy only strengthens the distressing image of a family trashed by poor judgment and worse behavior. And it continues. In another twist of unbelievable behavior, Britney has now taken up with another man, and rumors are that she is pregnant by him. So, who is this latest lover of the messed-up media darling?
Almost unbelievable if it weren't happening to entertainment's most bodacious bimbo, the new man in Britney's life ... and bed ... is a paparazzi. One of the hundreds of offensive street photographers and videographers who've hounded her endlessly 24-7 for the past five years. No scriptwriter could create such an unbelievable scenario. Britney has fallen in love with one of the sleazy vultures who've been harassing her and dodging her attempts to run him over. The prey has invited the predator to cross the line and come over to her side, as well as other parts of her body.
As long as the court order keeps Britney away from her children except for supervised visits, she can't be a danger to them. However, can anyone possibly speculate what she will do next to continue to be a great danger to herself?
