Sam's Club & the Judas Economy...
Democracy is about individual liberty and political primacy; corporatism and other forms of neo-authoritarianism such as socialism are about the primacy of collectives under the authority of elites; presently the collectives with elite ruler-ship are on the assent with control of the broadcast media and increasingly the power to influence politics in the United States. Under the aegis of broadcast corporatism democracy, like the terms liberal and conservative, can become redefined to mean anything the paradigm setters of political correct lexicons decide. Yet before the Exxon Valdez oil spill of 1989 is just a faded memory while oil is at 115 dollars per barrel, let us consider briefly just one powerful corporation that has moved up the past 25 years while the U.S. economy has in several respects regarding world comparative advantages moved down; 'Sam's Club' is a leader in the 'Judas economy'. Following that I shall return to more general contemplations upon the status of democracy.
Sam's Club might better be renamed 'Mao's Club' for its transformation into the Asian retail outlet in America. Sam's Club is a raging foreign economic lion seeking to devout domestic competition leading as a serpent fu combatant fancy foot-worked invasions and conquests of the American states with a Judas economy building up global interests and depleting those of Americans. Initially the Sam Walton was an American entrepreneur with U.S. labels proudly displayed on made in America goods, then Wal-Mart and Sam's Club became Shang Mart at Devil's Club masquerading as U.S. business outlets while betraying them with a kiss of foreign death.
Mao's Club takes from the middle class and poor and blights the competitive ricardian landscape in the process gutting union labor, subverting independent rival business, blowing up global and national ecological values and politically conservative efforts for a sustainable steady state environment, and exploiting labor domestically and abroad. While Sam's Club and Shang Mart are primary players in the dumping of Asian goods in America, and for distribution of Amazonian rain forest paper products that help kill the rain forests for good (the ecosystems cannot just recover if logging stops because they produced 40% of their own rainfall that will not be present for a reforestation) each are tied in to the global conquest of power over America. Neither sells wind electrical power generators at 400 watts to the public that would potentially enable more Americans to generate their own electricity. Sam's Club parking lots and roofs are vast displacers of the photosynthetic processes that provide 85% of the world's energy including fossil fuel (decayed plant matter under pressure). Americans should fight back and require that all U.S. highway surface be recoated with solar electron collecting and power producing materials as soon as technology allows to power up electric vehicles and businesses without charge.
Shang Mart and the Devil's Club should not be allowed to open their own banks and in effect print their own money profiting in the process and passing the costs onto their duped consumers of foreign goods. Fractional reserve banking is a legal process that lets commercial banks in effect print their own money by issuing 90% loans and just keeping 10% of any deposit (as long as there isn't a run on the bank they don't need the real money). Vast global bully's like Sam's Club that formerly were somewhat patriotic today descry the individual and dominate in partnership with Chinese communist producers so much of the nation's economic prospects-their way of being is counter-productive to national ecological economics and political liberty for all...Shang Mart and Devil's Clubs are intolerant to executive dissent in political expressions from global corporate policy, and may be tied in to an informal corporate black listing of ecological and individual liberty dissidents to the encroachment of corporatism over democracy in the United States of America. One hopes that the Sam 7 Club doesn't launch surface to air political campaign contributions salvos against Senator John McCain's mildly independent candidacy for President-McCain is the only candidate with enough independence and experience to have a chance of defending U.S. borders and restore a steady state ecological economic primacy should he choose to accept the mission...the Devil's Club may fear that.
No Rambo will emerge from jungle camoflage to k-bar the throat of the predator-terminator of American political and energy independence, the people must rely on God to correct the corrupt global encroachments of Shang-Mart and the Devil's Club. They are repressors of creativity while pro-bureaucracy and mindless sycophantic sloth in the effort to secure the highest places of global economic imperialism, yet to return to the prospects for democracy in a 'ppolitically correct world'.
What is political correctness? Is it the wrongness of totalitarian oppression and ruthless, savage extermination of real freedom and dissent as the world moves into globalist consolidation of power by degrees of greed? Can a democracy survive when the ignorant are the majority yearning for a place on the big elephant of change and power trampling over the hapless Lilliputians of the poor? Can the majority leapfrog up a springboard over the rump of the elephant to the highest pinnacles of privilege, and will that 'do it'?
Political correctness or the right answers to break the pinata of fiduciary fruits exist within social reality rather than objective reality for-itself. What the environment and what the people need for a human and healthy social environment cannot generally be found in the broadcast manure spread political book of changes motivating revolutions; social rebellions can accomplish the wastage of corrupt oppressors and install new ones without any sense of objective reality and a more ideal way for human existence within a constitutional context. Can democracy survive the continuous downgrading of its body politic through expansion of boarders and invasions of illegal aliens until political intelligence is dumbed down to the point that the voters simple become simultaneous sycophantic yes-persons coinciding with global expansion of economic units and oligarchic control of the masses?
Whatever labels global rulers wear they tend to become and elite hovering over the masses like vicious, sadistic tooth fairies looking for more and more fillings to extract for deposit in their global banking accounts of power. Communist, socialist, corporatist the labels are interchangeable amongst the top ranks as they rule over masses of drones clothing themselves perhaps in finer mass-produced goods that cumulatively destroy the world's ecology and environmental health. Democracy may survive perhaps solely within a nationalist environment with limited immigration criteria and without destabilizing, irregularity disruptions of public and private interests. Such democracies would serve the globe's needs for 'change' toward a democratic environment not by laying themselves upon the sacrificial economic alter as cannibal's feast main courses but instead as secure and brilliant lights of the world offering help and education assistance to the downtrodden and excluded, or even offering military aid on occasion when inhuman tyrannical rulers victimize the people. Yet even the United States cannot secure it's borders or improve the well being of the masses in a stable context. Implicit popular economic theories find instability and boom and bust expansion necessay and exclusive contexts for free enterprise and capitalism in error. The Presidential candidates for the democratic party have daft, ineffective health care proposals that would force the poor to pay globalist health corporations for 'insurance'. Poor parents unable to pay for insurance for children would be imprisoned and lose custody of their kids. Neither do Bomber and Billary advocate a zero illegal alien policy or creation of a federal department to attack through national support economically moribund areas producing current trade deficits of significance. Instead of creating insurance safety nets for the poor federal retirement and health programs tend to become usurped by the well-off creating vast federal debt obligations presently more than 50 trillion dollars. Even in an advantaged country such as the U.S.A. the intelligence from Democracy is absent and like a drunken camel in the desert humping to and from without good planning or intentions within an internal cloud of confusion the U.S. electorate has gone farther and farther to snare some vague idea of progress while letting solid and fungible possibilities die in the fields that were once prosperous.
Can democracy survive in a New World Order of neo-Corporatism with political use-truths drawn from a market value lexicon training consumers to purchase and live with perennial budget deficits? It seems improbably to me. 'The Unconscious Civilization' by John Ralston Sauls is a primer on corporatism that receives politically correct definition or use-truth even in the wikipedia which is perhaps controlled by those with the most time and power to invest on writing on controversial subjects.
Democracy is redefined in the politically correct corporatism operationally as support services for trans-national corporations. The Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States Roberts is the one with the most invested in trans-national corporate stocks. Where will a democracy survive amidst the trans-border corporate power and communications drawn from a business environment that is anti-democratic implicitly and mostly autocratic or oligarchic by design? Democracy is for the corporate world a realm of murky socialists subverting the absolute right of free enterprise and capitalism. Democracy was assumed to be the ruler of a nation with business and capitalists conducting economic activities in the theory of Adam Smith, yet modern corporatists haven't time for the externalities of democracy that is on the wrong side of the tax equation seeking to redistribute corporate income from the deserving to the sponges. Because corporatism is trans-national and a national democracy is not, democracy is the foe of corporatists seeking to exploit nations, pay no taxes and have no environmental responsibility. Because trans-national corporations own the broadcast media and were just given permission by the FCC to buy newspapers in the United States corporate propaganda will be even more pervasive than it is presently erasing even vestigial democracy in the United States. The U.S.A. will become a one-party corporate system yet flag waving corporatists will declare the democracy alive and thriving as the corporate New World Order expands abroad and unifies de facto with the Chinese Communist Party in corporatism...in China then party selects the top 1% of students to become leaders of Chinese corporations.
Because pure materialism and profit motives drive corporations and that is also where all the power over 'the goodies' is concentrated American national democratic interests are waning, the infrastructure isn't staying ahead of other nations comparatively and the future federal debt obligations have risen 23 trillion dollars in the last 4 years. Corporatism is a raging fire out of control consuming the American democracy with the top 1% concentrating their wealth as the real income of the middle class declined. That historical fact is obfuscated yet marketed as an aspect of 'sharing the wealth with the second and third world'. ts also a load of manure as the rich simply got richer, flooded the nation with cheap Mexican workers and outsourced jobs and production to China and India while compelling the U.S.A. to rely on OPEC oil to enrich the Exxons and Haliburtons of the world. Corporate h.q.'s could after all be moved to Dubai and the U.A.E. royals could buy Citigroup or at least kick in several billion. Direct foreign investment in the U.S.A. has reached 25% of rental paying real estate properties and in some years reached 360 billion dollars of new money each year.
Democracy is not being defended well in the U.S.A. and is being replaced by global control. The politically correct definitions are made by trans-nationalists without an interest in democracy or nationalism, so its probably authoritarianism ahead a few decades.

Arguably political correctness picked up where the basics teachings of manners and respect, once taught and enforced by parents, teachers and neighbors without retribution, was deserted by the majority. Unfortunately, it has gotten out of control and offends those who were raised with manners and respect for others.
I don't live in a political correct world', because political correctness is for those who fear being sued, not elected, voted off the board, fired by the boss for not enforcing the no tolerance' policy and so on. A black man is a black man. A white man a white man. Most white men have not been to Europe and most black men have not been to Africa. Let's call it straight and not have our feelings hurt through semantics. Then there is the other side, which is coming.
And, down the rabbit hole we go.
Within the definition of democracy' lies the concept of equality. Contrary to idealism, we are not all created equal, but we as a community strive toward the idea that all those in our country should have the same opportunities as the next without regard to individual and unique differences and preferences. This is the foundation upon which our country was created, and despite failed attempts to reach that ideal, we still work harder than any other nation in the world to achieve. With this opportunity afforded us through democracy, our chances of being eaten by the guppy under Darwin's theory, Survival of the Fittest', are greatly diminished, as opposed to those born in Bangladesh.
Political correctness may threaten the concepts of democracy as it relates to equality for all in the U.S., but it isn't going to trump the definition of democracy or the concepts of equality within it over the long-term. And it ain't gonna overthrow democracy as some sort of plague, that's a revolution. Political correctness is a fad for those who want to sound that they respect everybody. It's also a crutch, for those who fear what they really are.
It's surely gotten out of hand and has overstayed its welcome. Some would say it does currently threaten democracy on some levels. I wouldn't argue that, but it's not going away anytime soon. I am not a fan of political correctness and think if you cry "PC, PC" you should be slapped. Slapping an otherwise seemingly rational person who was talking crazy to bring him back to reality was considered a public service over fifty years ago. Today it is considered assault.
If you are hypersensitive, feel slighted by society, are a victim of the man or just feel entitled, you may collect on the basis of humiliation and patheticness in the form of cash if you manipulate the law with a microphone in your face.
When did insecurity become a civil right through a concept as slippery as political correctness?
Cockpit' is an unacceptable term in the Air Force now, as is flying within the box'.
Hugs are unacceptable in middle schools.
Dodgeball and tag are bully sports.
Where does it end?
A white, fifty-something, aero-space engineer with an academician's knowledge base and theorist's mind was a part of think-tank meeting discussing aspects a project of great application for the country. He used the word niggardly' in a sentence during this meeting. A thirty-something white woman later complained he was prejudice. He was summarily fired. This foolish, hypersensitive white woman was either ignorant of the word in question, or was just out to stick it to someone. She caused irreparable harm to a man's character due to an irresponsible interest group created out of political correctness. This is a true story. It was not news worthy.
Will democracy as a whole survive these examples? Yes. Do you think the aerospace engineer felt like the spirit of democracy served him? Hell no. How about the woman who was offended by the word niggardly', did anyone buy her a dictionary? Or was she just a female dog in heat?
But despite the naysayers and the bastardization of the media, democracy will not be toppled by the two groups of troublemakers who have perpetuated the hysteria of political correctness. Those afraid of offending anyone for fear of how others will think of them, or of retribution. And, on the flip side, that group who thinks they can reason with idiots who will never respect them if they cry for help through the PC chant. Some were just never taught manners, nor respect for others.
Again, democracy will survive political correctness. It is slowly being put in its place by judges who see frivolity where frivolity lie, and the public at large that is getting tired of the subject in general. Give it time and it will be on the shelf with Spam in some third world corner store.
And, should you find yourself at an air show, ask any military fighter pilot, male or female, if they are offended by the word cockpit'. My guess is they'll slap you.
