Hillary had a taste of what it would be like in White House once before, so why wouldn't she try for it again. She knew what she was getting herself into when Bill decided to run for president. There is nothing wrong with running for office, however if she tried to do it without the last name of Clinton she might not get too far.Maybe riding on the coattails of someone's last name, especially if that someone has all ready been in the White House can hurt your attempt at becoming the next president, and even though you have your own beliefs about how to make the country a better place for the citizens of the United States, you will have those who will think that one Clinton was enough, it is time for a fresh, new approach to help solve the problems that your country is facing today.A lot has gone on in the last eight years, things are different, people are different but the one thing that will remain the same will be another Clinton is running for president.Would have Hillary done what many other candidates have done and worked their way up the political ladder? Maybe, but when your last name is Clinton, you can go to the next level.Don't get me wrong, I think Hillary is a fine Senator, and has done her state proud, but this is a different arena and the wolves are out for blood, if she were a fresh face then people might take a second look. When the people go to vote in November '08, who will they be voting for, Hillary or Bill. Will this be his feeble attempt at getting back into the White House? Many will want Hillary, not because of her last name, but for what she believes in and what she wants to do to bring the nation together .Being married to someone who has all ready been there might be the one thing that haunts Hillary for years to come.

Were it not for her husbands presidency, Hillary Clinton would not have had the exposure necessary to make serious run for the office. Though an inteligent and calculating individual, she would likely have been just another senator. The Clinton presidential saga kept her in the spotlight and helped to portray her as a woman of integrity and one committed to seeing things through.

In reality, the Clinton's were hated in their own state which explains why they never went back. They set up shop in the media capital of the world. What better place to stay in the spotlight but at the same time distance yourself from your past. Hillary has done little for New York as a senator and has had little to do with the economy or positive changes in New York State. If you take away the infamous track record what possible qualifications would she have to take a run at the presidency? Most former presidents had well established political careers, public service, or military service on their resumes prior to running for office.

Someone once said, "Great events make great men". Maybe it will go down in history that an infamous event made a great woman. It remains to be seen what she can do for this country. Let's hope the American people don't get taken twice by putting their trust in the Clinton family.
