Are Hispanics the only ethnic group speaking out about immigration?

Hispanics are not the only ethnic group speaking out about immigration, but they are the most broadcasted. As Hispanics are the most populous minority group in America, they have "strength in numbers" when it comes to getting their voice heard. They hold rallies and protests in major cities and the turnout is always huge. But down in south Florida, a large urban area of diverse residents, the Haitian-Americans are not heard as loud.
I have lived in south Florida for 21 years, and over that period of time I have seen the influx of immigrants from Cuba into Miami. Since the 1960s, the Cubans have been granted political asylum upon arriving on American soil. This policy is known to most as the "wet foot, dry foot" rule, as Cuban refugees are only required of one of their feet to land in the United States to be given asylum from Cuba's communist regime. However, the Haitians are not recipients of the same luxury. I cannot count the number of times I have seen Haitians rally and protest in Miami over large groups of Haitians refugees being detained and eventually turned back to Haiti. It is quite known that the condition of Haiti has deteriorated over the years and people are living there in extreme poverty and unjust laws. Therefore, large herds of these people flee the country to seek a better life in America but they leave in rickety rafts and boats because that is the only means for them to travel. It is sad though, that many do not even make it to be turned back from America because of the dangerous ways they travel many have died. But is it wrong to deny these people who are in dire need of better living? It has turned into a topic of racial tension because of the Cubans' "whiter" appearance than the Haitians. Even so, Miami has a large Haitian community who have plead to the government but their voice only fall on deaf ears.
The topic of immigration has become a heated debate in America. It is quite ironic because all ethnic groups and races with the exception of the Native Americans, are indeed immigrants and the descendants of immigrants. It seems as though the words on The Statue of Liberty and the idea of the American Dream are only limited to a few groups nowadays. The treatment of immigrants is also unfair since they take jobs that pay little to nothing and cannot complain about unfair treatment or being overworked.
Hispanics are the largest minority group and Spanish is the 2nd most spoken language in the U.S. However, a lot of Hispanic immigrants are comfortable not learning English and can actually get by without speaking English. This is especially true in Miami where 65 percent of the population is Hispanic. At any rate, the government still has a long way to go in resolving this volatile issue. As the population increases over time, we will eventually see if the voices of immigrants are heard and which voices will be heard the loudest.

The way this is worded I am not sure if it really has a yes or no side but Hispanics are really the only ones that are causing the major problem with illegal immigration. If nothing else but the sheer numbers of them. They are not really immigrants in the sense of the immigrants of the past who came to the United states wanting to work, pay taxes and learn to speak OUR language. They are coming here illegally and trying to make us kiss their butts by making all kinds of demands and expecting us to give them everything they want and give us nothing in return but a bunch of murdering, thieving criminals. I see one of the kids that was arrested in the murder of the Washington Redskin player was Hispanic and I would almost bet that he is here illegally Over seventy five percent of the violent crimes in the Denver area in the last five years have been committed by Hispanics here illegally. They have killed two or three policeman just out and out murdered them. A drunk illegal immigrant driving a stolen car ran sown a young family of four in downtown Denver, killing the mother and two young children and seriously injuring the father. They are nothing but problems and I think we ought to give them all a swift kick in the butt and a bus ticket back to Mexico City,
I don't recall ever picking up the phone in the past and having to "Push 1 for German" or "Push 1 for Italian", or "Push 1 for Norwegian." Those people were all immigrants but there is a big difference, they came to United States to become citizens and good ones that wanted to help themselves and their new country. The Hispanic illegal immigrants want to help themselves to and they do. They steal and demand what they want. A few years ago on CInco de Mayo the Mexicans in Denver staged a boycott of the non-Hispanic businesses in Denver and were going to show us how much our businesses needed them. When all the figures were in, sales were down less than one half of one percent, but shop lifting was down seventy eight percent. The companies encouraged them to continue to boycott them. Almost every survey I do on line somewhere in the survey asks if I am Hispanic but they do not give you a place to say "HELL NO." Why don't hey ask if I am German or Iraqi or Muslim? Hispanics want to take over the United States and we need to pout a stop to it RIGHT NOW.
We need to bring our troops back from Georges stupid lost cause war and put these soldiers on the borders with their AK-47s and shoot every one of those illegals that give them any static and fail to do what they are told. If they don't have the proper paperwork they go back and if they don't we will shoot them and call the meat wagon to come pick them up so they don't stink up the border. The Hispanics need to realize and get it through their bean filled head that they are just that IMMIGRANTS and they follow our laws and learn our language or go home PERIOD.
