In a competition between the price of water and oil, water will inevitably cost more in the future. There are many simple reasons. First of all, water is a basic necessity, and when the day comes when potable water(also known as clean water) becomes scarce, the price will surge at unimaginable rates.
Secondly, water is soon being seen as a more efficient and a viable energy source for vehicles. Once water replaces oil as the main source of energy for vehicles, the availability of water will soon decrease again.
Lets say one day all the coal deposits in the Earth have been dug up and the economy is suffering. That may happen in the foreseeable future, with our rate of consumption increase dramatically. People will turn to renewable energy sources and at that point, as you may imagine, the effects of climate change have taken their toll and their will be cities that have been totally flooded(for example, low lying cities like Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, just to name a few). The pollution these cities will cause is unimaginable to the oceans. Most of the water in the oceans cannot be used already, but with pollution and oil spills, the price of water would soon overtake the price of oil.

I think am on the no side, because we have lot of natural resources enough that will take us for a very long time that is the sea, we could always fetch some water from the sea and filter it or do it the it the African way, boiling it for a long time till the dirt dissolves below and it will be safe for all to drink.
Without the oil the world is going to be in a total chaos, because vegetable oil is used for cooking and generally gives some protein to our system in our body, and crude oil as we know is highly expensive in most populated countries especially Nigeria, so it is something we should not joke
about .
What about the transportation system and how do you think we can survive? Traveling on long distances when we are not in the desert and we are not dumb or poor to help our country.
Finally the means all values of human life will totally be disorganized due to how we manage and handle things especially in making choices.
Apart from the rate or prize of oil, we should be able to know its significance in our daily
lives and how long we have be using it without faults or disappointment. and document the importance of the oil even to our next generation to come.
