The oklahoma sooner is the most exciting running back in the nfc in a long time since barry sanders in the nineties and to compare the two for a little bit.I wathched adrian peterson at oklahoma and the quickness he shows after those first few yards and agility to cut in either direction uually on his way to the endzone if the blocking is there and has shown no effects from the shoulder injury in college lastyear and should get the rookie of the year as did barry sanders who also showed the agility and quickness when getting past the defensive lineman as they break for long touchdown or first down runs and adrian peterson was a big part of the upset win by the minnesota vikings over the then playhunt chasing chicago bears a few weeks ago.The palestine texas native has more than shown why he was the minnesota vikings top draft pick and is the starter for the pro bowl nfc roster with marion barber if not mistaken and the nfc may even win the pro bowl but not the super bowl since they have not won both games in avery long time in the st louis rams winning days in the years two thousand onw and two.The allstar running back adrian should keep the vikings in the playoff hunt for years to come season but need a lot of help from the cowboys and the washington redskins after losing 32-21 last sunday night to the washington redskins and putting theirselves in a deep whole along with the new orleans saints to get the last playoff spot.
