Global War is the only thing Gore promoted without mentioning Space Satellite Systems, Narcotics Shell Games & the Shell Game of the Iraq War the GOP know as a rehearsal for Terra Star Wars War on North America.
Gore is extremely Delusional Felon, War Criminal, Jeffery Dahmer Cult member & has been Delusional on HAARP Resonance Narcotic since 1996 at least. Mentioning the Illegal Governance System, Space Satellite Terra Star Wars would be the first step towards decreasing Guilt.
ClintonBush & Gore failed to mention any Weapons of mass Destruction while following a System of Key Words & Key Phrases & encouraged the UK EU Royalty to believe they were ruling Earth with any Pedophilia, Crime Direction & Creation & creation of Hierarchy in Politics that has nothing to do with Policy, Merit, Integrity & everything to do with Popularity.
"Climate" Worries are about the worries Old European's Narcotics Organizations have about the inevitable Constitutional Democracy's emergence after 2008 elections.
The Space Satellite & Illegal Electronic Governance Systems maintained Anti Competitive Western Political & Commercial "Climate" while squeezing the Non Western Countries to either produce products cheaply or suffer Western Extortion practices of requiring Non Western Countries to learn Western languages for access to Education, Health & Natural Resources.

Ah, the controversial question rears its ugly head yet again
Before I delve into my personal response to this query, I would like to state a few (perhaps little-known) facts:
First and foremost, in order to believe that Al Gore's intent is simply "good PR", one would have to overlook his journey into what led to the making of An Inconvenient Truth. Gore's curiosity about the global warming issue (or "non-issue" to some) was first awakened by a college professor long before Gore was even a member of the political scene.
As a politician, Gore introduced Congress to global warming in the 1970's and was, in fact, one of the only politicians who showed any interest at all in the epidemic. If this is an attempt at good publicity, he sure has stretched it out for quite a long time.
Furthermore, Gore donates 100% of the proceeds from the film to the Alliance for Climate Protection an organization that he founded in order to educate a world of people who are exceedingly inclined to believe that nothing can be done to change the effects of anthropogenic (man-made) global warming, or worse, that anthropogenic global warming doesn't even exist. This organization uses donations to fund worldwide education and persuasion through media and institutions.
Would a man with a political agenda give so much to inform us of the dangers and consequences of and solutions to a current global warming problem? And despite the fact that the film has Gore fans begging for him to run for the presidency in 2008, he has stated openly that he does not plan to run again.
The thing I can't for the life of me grasp is the fact that every single one of the resolutions that Gore has offered as a way to slow or even stop the effects of global warming are all things that will benefit each of us anyway, regardless of whether or not we believe there is a global warming issue at all!
For example, in his list of "ten things to do" (which can be found at http://www.climatecr isis.net/pdf/10thing s.pdf) Gore suggests that we turn off and completely unplug any electronic devices not currently in use. Not only does he claim that this will save us "thousands of pounds of carbon dioxide a year", but it is also something which will help us lower our own electric bills! So whether we are skeptical or not, my question is:
WHY DON'T WE DO THESE SIMPLE THINGS THAT WILL BENEFIT US ANYWAY?
Hailing originally from the Fort Lauderdale area, I myself am particularly disappointed in knowing that the southernmost point of the State of Florida will, in the not-so-far future, be what is now central Florida! My hometown, under water. The beautiful Keys, under water. If it means changing some light bulbs (which would save me money as well), checking the air in my tires (which again, will benefit me personally), and participating in a few other small changes to my lifestyle to make sure that I am NOT a contributor in the loss of Miami, the Keys and Fort Lauderdale, I don't see what the big deal is.
Personally, after having seen An Inconvenient Truth, and having done my own research, I must say that Al Gore is a man deeply concerned with the issue itself, and not at all concerned with the ramifications (whether beneficial or not) that may come from presenting his film. Good PR? At this point, I think Gore could care less about publicity. He has inspired me and proved to me that he is more concerned with the state that our planet will be in in years to come as opposed to whatever benefit (if any) he would personally get from educating us about it.
