The first thing we all learn in kindergarten is "keep your hands to yourself!" I think Johnny Fairplay Wasn't playing to "fair" (no pun intended!) with Mr. Bonaduce was he?

If you jump on someone, or perhaps put your whole body on someone, for that matter. You are running a huge risk of getting hurt.

First of all, let's put this in prospective. If I jump on another person friend or not, I run a great risk of hurting myself, or the person I jumped on.

What if Bonaduce was the hurt person here? What if Bonaduce fell down and cracked his head open? This was a likely possibility. Maybe his back was injured from this stunt?

Does Fairplay have a legitimate lawsuit? Absolutely not! He may file this suit against Bonduce. However, a Judge will throw out this case. This law suit screams frivolous and was self-induced.

Mr. Fairpalay will learn that it's never okay to put your hands on another person ever again. Had Mr. Fairplay remembered the "golden rule" from kindergarten, his face and teeth would be just fine right now.

Mr. Bonduce had no intent to hurt him; he just pushed him up and over. He had every right to do so.
Let us be realistic in acceptable behaviors.

If someone jumps on you or I and he or she gets hurt. It's called self- defense!
No one has the right to ever put his or her hands, feet, thighs, or whole body on you. And then when and if they do sustain an injury scream lawsuit? I guess that's the American way.

This is a bogus lawsuit. Bonaduce's Attorney should hold the plaintiff and his Attorney liable for all the fees if such an outrageous lawsuit should go to trial.

I think a sensible Judge will throw it out. It will never make it to court. Mr. Bonaduce should not settle. Don't give up one penny to Mr. Fairplay.

Mr. Fairplay will revert back to the Golden rules! And perhaps, the Judge may reiterate his stupidity and quote Johnny boy, the ole "Hands to yourself" rules.

Then once again these rules will apply to EVERYONE!

Sorry Johnny Is embarrassed. And he got hurt.

However, has anyone asked if that hop, skip, and a few humps hurt Mr. Bonaduce? Things could have gone the other way. If Bonduce got hurt he indeed would have a right to sue for his injuries. Horseplay at any age is not a good idea. Take responsibility Mr. Fairplay! Remember, if you had not touched Mr. Bonaduce you would still have your teeth and face.

No lawsuit will be won from this, nor should a suit be filled. Learn from it Johnny, and maybe you could say you were sorry to Bonaduce? Now there is a concept lost by so many Americans. We are too quick to file lawsuits. Get a grip this was Fairplays fault.

Alright, this is an open-ended and full-contact legal issue. We are all right on both sides. Let's look at a few things that we are privy to right now...

1) Johnny 'assulted' (or more insulted) Danny's right to space. He jumped on Danny unprovoked.

2) Danny likely did not intend for Johnny to be hurt in the manner it happened or he would have simply hit him and done same damage with certainty that the damage would occur.

Now, with these two (few) things that we know. Aside from Danny being a very outgoing and forward and often combative person, it is easy to blame Danny for this. However, my feelings from viewing it more than once was that it wasn't at all intended. Danny didn't even know he was hurt until he turned around. I think he was very surprised and then his ego kicked in and he tried to play it off by trying to get some applause.

Afterall, Danny didn't ask for Johnny to jump on him and simulate a sex act in public and on national tv. We all know Danny is very much a homo-phobe. So can we damn Danny for simply tossing Johnny over his shoulder? I'm sure punching him crossed his mind. Looking at the tape, he definately took a few moment to think 'what do I do?"

Personally, I think he acted above normal considering his past. And I applaud him for that.

However, legally harm came from an altercation. There have been instances that a B&E person sews the home owner for tripping or getting cut or being shot during their crime and they win. So, although I don't think Johnny is entitled to it, I believe that we hold a semi-unbiased court system that will have to decide on this. Nothing any of us say will likely matter. I doubt very much Danny will be successfully sued. Unfortunately Danny is getting ill coverage on it. However, Johnny is getting great coverage and allot of the supporters. So, both are getting coverage. And as we all know, good or bad coverage means dollar signs in their image demand. So, it's not uncommon for some known enemies to actually stage these events. However, I doubt this is staged. I think Johnny has the right to pursue it legally. I doubt he will win because of what I mentioned above. However, juries have found those B&E suspects allot of money in the past. So, nothing would surprise me today. I know that Danny's attorney's will absolutely state that he was assulted first and acted in a reasonable manner than happened to cause damage to Johnny. However, Johnny's attorney's will say that it was in live television and Johnny was not trying to make a sex act with Danny it was in fun. I think if it goes to a jury, Danny is in trouble because he's not liked much by many. But if it goes to a judge for a decision, I think both should be slapped with a fine and pay damaged to both. Johnny can pay Danny's ill-media coverage fees and make a public statement to say that they both apologize for it and both then look good. And Danny can pay Johnny's medical bills and also apologize.

There, everyone's happy. However, that's not what it's about anymore. It's about making someone pay. Even if you; yourself, are responsible in some part for the happening. I can understand both sides but both have a personal interest in it. I think a judge as a 3rd party could make good come out of both sides by doing what I said above.

My thoughts,
Mick
