Add to FavoritesNO: Of course, Britney has proved time and again she is an unfit mother and needs legal and medical intervention. However, KFed will never win a father of the year award. Legal custody of the two little boys, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, one, will now be solely his responsibility. This seems to be a terrible mistake.
KFed is an untalented laughing stock in the music business, and a notorious sleep-around who almost certainly caused Britney to divorce him because of his cheating ways. He's already the father of at least two out-of-wedlock kids with another woman, who is rumored to be pregnant again.
Surely, the Los Angeles judge who made the ruling must have had other alternatives to consider for the care of the boys. Aren't there willing family members of Britney who'd be much more qualified to care for and protect the boys? This obviously poorly thought-out ruling may be sentencing them to be tossed from one disfunctional, whacked-out caregiver to an even more whacked-out one.
The couple was married three years ago, and after a stormy two years and two babies, Britney filed for divorce. The decree became official in July, and the original agreement was to share custody. Although, as rumors had it, Britney offered to pay KFed considerable support money on a regular basis if he'd just go away, he began almost immediately after their separation to fight for total custody. Other than financial, has anyone taken the time to question his motives?
Britney's downfall has been relentlessly followed on TV gossip programs, and front pages of newspapers and supermarket tabloids. Paparazzi photos and videos show her nightly partying, exposing herself, ignoring car seat belt laws while with her children, frequent driving violations and other examples of bizarre behavior. On a previous attempt at rehab, she held a public display of having her head shaved.
Her performance at the recent MTV Awards TV program was a pitful display of a confused and troubled woman. Granted, Britney has done everything possible to prove she's an unfit mother. However, giving the children to her equally disfunctional ex-husband seems to be a terrible decision.

What judge in their right mind would allow two innocent children to be exposed to the outrageous behavior that Britney has demonstrated these past few months? Kudos to that courtroom for not giving her the pampered celebrity treatment like so many others have received. Since the beginning of her divorce and custody battle with KFed, Britney has come late to mandatory hearings and drug tests, sometimes skipping them altogether. No one else would get away with that. In fact, she had countless chances to prove that she was attempting to clean up her act, and she didn't. She was more compelled to go to Starbucks than she was to make sure her children were properly secured in their car seats.
The court saw Britney for who she truly is, and that's why she doesn't deserve to have custody of those kids. She is selfish and hasn't made the impression on anyone that her home is stable and a positive environment for them to grow up in. She lives in a hotel half the time! Give those two boys 12 more years living with their mother and they'll be in rehab as early as Drew Barrymore was. At least they'll have white teeth as long as Britney can con a dentist into doing the cosmetic work at such a young age. Someone please buy her a parenting book for morons.
Did anyone really expect the girl who went into a dirty gas station's bathroom without shoes on to be a good mother? Come on. She was handed a lot of money at an extremely young age, and no one helped her grow up. Just watch her. She acts like a immature, moody teenager. She throws tantrums, she thrives off of attention, and she picks fights with her mother in public. She should not be responsible for two children. What she needs is a really good shrink, possibly some medication after the doctor's are sure she won't abuse it and a long break from selling herself to the paparazzi.
It's almost comical to think that Michael Jackson was charged with child molestation and the entire world believes O.J. Simpson killed his wife Nicole, yet they were able to keep their children. Maybe if Britney had played by the real world rules she would have been okay. Maybe if she had showed up to court on time. Maybe if she hadn't barricaded herself in her home refusing to let her children go back to their father and not taking a lethal dose of pills and alcohol, she'd be in the clear. Oh Britney. Maybe someone should have told her that money may buy a lot of things, but it can't buy her class. And it certainly doesn't buy her good parenting skills and the right to raise children. She has earned her media name of Unfitney.
