Mark Ranalli
President and CEO
Mark Ranalli is a proven entrepreneur with a successful track record of launching and running Internet centric companies.
Prior to Helium, Mark served as President of Fax International, a 700-person, global IP communications company, and later launched BaseSix Inc., a marketing strategy firm that specialized in servicing F100 Communications and Media companies such as AT&T Broadband, AOL, Comcast, HBO and StarzEncore.
In addition to his leadership role at Helium, Mark is co-founder of OurStage Inc. (www.ourstage.com) and serves as Vice Chairman for the Center for Responsive Politics.
Mark earned a Masters of Business Administration from Tuck at Dartmouth and a BSEE from Stanford University. He is married with two children.
Jeff Grady
VP Finance
Jeff Grady has in-depth experience in a wide range of financial, accounting, administrative and operational functions; previously holding positions progressive to CFO/COO at companies within the music and entertainment, real estate and financial investment sectors. He enjoys working with a team to transition companies whether it be through growth, repositioning to adapt to changing markets, or restructuring for margin enhancement.
Jeff earned a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Chicago, Booth School of Business, a Bachelor of Science in business administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and he began his career working as a CPA for Arthur Andersen.
Janice Brand
VP Helium Content Source
Janice Brand has more than 25 years experience as a print and online editor.
She is Vice President, Helium Content Source, a full-service content provider to large companies and publishers. In this role, Janice works closely with partners such as The Washington Post, CBS and Haymarket Publishing to assure the right writer for their jobs, with an emphasis on cost efficiencies and quality.
Over her career, she’s met a prince (Hans Adam II, Prince of Liechtenstein) and a president (President Obama in January at the first-ever women’s online summit at the White House).
Tracy Flynn
VP Architecture
As an experienced CTO and director of engineering, Tracy brings more than 30 years’ experience to the development organization within Helium. Prior to joining Helium, Tracy led the development efforts for a distributed learning company and, before that, for a voter information systems business.
Tracy earned a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics and a Bachelor of Arts in Russian from Oberlin College.
Lorinda Brandon
VP Product Development
With more than 25 years of experience in the high tech industry, Lorinda has worked at industry leaders like Intuit, Kayak and EMC. She has held various management roles in product development, from Product Management to Quality Assurance to Customer Service, and has developed a broad understanding of how to build products that work.
Lorinda graduated with a Bachelors Degree in art from Arizona State University.
